Haridwar – Barkot (210 Kms : 7:30 hrs)
Haridwar - The spiritual Chardham Yatra commences from Dehradun airport or Haridwar railway station. Travelers will meet our representative and proceed to Barkot via Mussoorie. En route, there will be a stop at Kempty Falls. Upon arrival in Barkot, check in at the hotel, relax, and enjoy the stunning mountain views and natural beauty.
Barkot – Yamunotri (45 Kms drive : 2 hrs + 6 Kms trek each side)
Yamunotri Temple - Start the day early (4/5 am) and head to Jankichatti, the starting point for the 6 km trek to Yamunotri. The trek can be done on foot or by hiring a horse or doli (cost not included). Pilgrims cook rice in “Surya Kund” (a hot water spring) by dipping it in a cloth and take the cooked rice home as Prasad. Puja can be performed at the mythological “Divya Shila.” Receive blessings from Mata Yamuna, then trek back to Jankichatti and drive to Barkot.
