My new playground in my back yard ;) - What an amazing experience arriving at the Camel farm and enjoying a delicious cup of coffee with Camels milk, then the tasting begun with products produced with the Camels milk - wow delicious. The Feta being so good ! Craig was friendly and very knowledgeable of the area which was a big interest for my parents who were from South Africa. It was a fun, filled day and especially enjoyed picking the carrots and beans and taking them home. Lunch was delicious and the variety was excellent. This is certainly an insight into what the area is all about. The highlight was visiting the Wine Farm in the most beautiful location and listening to Dave and his stories.

Scenic Rim delights - What a fantastic day! Spending the day touring around the Scenic Rim visiting Summerland Camel Farm enjoying some camel milk tastings of their delicious products; visiting a local farm where we were given an insight into the day to day running of a vegetable farm and treated to some fresh corn that we picked ourselves. Continuing on to the lovely little country town of Aratula to enjoy some baked goodies at the local bakery. Then the true highlight of the day, wine tasting and a sumptuous lunch at Karoomba Vineyard and Lavender Farm. Craig was a great tour guide with immense knowledge of the area which really added to the experience. If you’re looking for something to do you must go on this tour! It really is the best!

A great way to get out of the city! - This tour was great! So much fun to do with a few friends, and a perfect way to spend a day away from the city. You can actually touch/pat the Camels! Highly recommend.

Camel farm, food, and host all second to none. - My daughter and I went on a tour with Craig through the Camel Farm. We enjoyed the ride in the van, and especially when Craig had the whole bus laughing at his crazy humor. The farm was a real eye-opener to the amount of different products available that is produced from Camel milk. Farmstead, food and view were all beautiful. The day was magical in every sense, and I'd love to do one of the other tours with Local taste Discoveries when I can return to the region. Thoroughly recommended.

Great day gor the family - Our guide Craig picked us at home at 9.15 am and back at 2pm. He organised the lunch before hand. No queuing for us. The tour itself was good and the hosts very friendly However informative the session was. It would be great to see how the processing of the camel products is done with people doing it, also assisting at a camel milking session would be great for children. And it seems that the riding of camels is not well done. Those are 15mns ride and it went only for 1 hour or so but we were told it Was fully booked. So the 2 hours tour at $25 is probably best value if one doesn't need a guide.
