The moment I set foot in Hassilabied, I knew I was in for an adventure unlike any other. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the soft lighting to the tasteful decor, creating an atmosphere of peace and relaxation. As night fell, the campfire became the heart of the camp, drawing everyone together for an evening of drumming and camaraderie. The vibe was organic and authentic, a refreshing change from the overly touristy experiences I’ve encountered elsewhere. Here, the entertainment was understated, allowing for moments of solitude under the starlit sky or the chance to join in the rhythmic beats of the Berber drums.

Sunrise and Farewell

The magic of the desert continued into the early morning, as I awoke to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. The quietness of the Sahara at dawn is a moment of pure serenity, a reminder of the vastness and beauty of nature. After a hearty breakfast with panoramic views of the dunes, it was time to bid farewell to this enchanting place. The return journey offered the choice of camel or jeep, each providing a unique perspective of the desert landscape. As I rode back, I reflected on the experience, grateful for the opportunity to immerse myself in the tranquility and authenticity of the Berber Sahara.
