A charming and fun experience - I visited with friends as a group of four, and we were treated so specially: dressed in full kimono, shown the art of tea ceremony and then taught how to perform the steps ourselves, and then given plenty of time to ask questions and take pictures to share.

Experience to recommend! - A truly unique and exciting experience! We were welcomed - the two of us alone, without a mass of tourists - with typical Japanese kindness in an exclusive setting. They prepared and dressed us with care and passion before making us live the tea ceremony. The setting, a Buddhist temple with garden, was perfect. They took so many pictures of us. We highly recommend it to those who want to immerse themselves in the tradition of this country! Vanna and Sofia.

Wonderful experience - I loved everything about it. The ladies were so friendly and it was beautiful to get dressed for the ceremony. I only wished we would have sat on the floor, but for tourists they have set up tables.

relaxed tea ceremony on Miyajima - A long time ago I did tea ceremony (Sado) in highschool in Japan. This was as close to a real Japanese tea ceremony as I have seen in a tourist environment. If you are on Miyajima, and want to try some relaxed tea and see an authentic ceremony, I highly recommend this one. I also encourage you to bring your questions, its a great time to ask them.

A beautiful and tranquil experience. - I would definitely recommend this experience if you have time during your visit in Miyajima! The entire experience is near a small temple which is off the beaten path and away from the hustle and bustle of the main business streets. It offered the tranquillity you would expect of island life and let you experience Japanese traditional culture at its finest. The ladies here are well versed in English and super helpful in getting you dressed up in your kimonos and will help you take as many fun photos as you want! The tea ceremony itself was also amazing as they explained every step of the process and how to best enjoy your matcha, after which you get to do it all yourself!

Amazing immersive experience experience with kind and knowledgeable staff - The staff was very kind!!! They explain a lot of the tea ceremony and culture and are very interactive with guests and very knowledgeable about any questions you have. Also, they allow you to take photos and take photos of you during the ceremony and video if you like which is perfect to share on social media or with family back home!!! I highly recommend this for people who are visiting the Hiroshima area and want to get involved in a Japanese custom. It was really enjoyable and I would diff. Love to come back!!!
