Unforgettable Trip with Once in a LifeTime Views - Phenomenal experience with an expert guide! Arre is the definition of an excellent guide. He knew all the places to go for anything you needed and was very well versed in the history to give you backstories of anything you asked about. We adjusted our hours and he was able to accomodate. I recommend having Arre book your hotels directly for you. You'll get a better rate and deal with less complications due to it still being a remote city. I will definitely be using Arre for future trips.

Great visit of rural Tigray with Arre Tours - We (a group of 9) travelled to Tigray for a weekend to visit some of the rock hewn churches in the Gheralta mountains. Also thanks to Arre, we spent a few incredible days in beautiful Tigray. Arre was a very knowledgeable, warm and welcoming guide, and helped us use the two days to the maximum. He was communicative regarding aspects of the tour and shared interesting background information throughout. While there were some time constraints/issues on the last day, Arre was very accommodating to our wishes and flexible to adjust the plan. Many thanks Arre, this tour is highly recommended!

Memorable visit to the ancient sites of Tigray - I met Arre in Axum and after having shown me the historical (and some contemporary cultural) sights in town, we departed on a trip in his van to Gheralta. He is very good company and always ready to go the extra mile. He reads his audience well and tailors the trip to your interests. The climb and visit to Abuna Yemata was the highlight of my three week trip to Tigray/Ethiopia. Now is a good time to visit.
