Arre was Great! - We had a great weekend exploring Tigray and the beautiful mountaintop churches and scenery in Tigray. Arre did an amazing job arranging and was very responsive. Hope to travel with Arre again soon!

Great visit of rural Tigray with Arre Tours - We (a group of 9) travelled to Tigray for a weekend to visit some of the rock hewn churches in the Gheralta mountains. Also thanks to Arre, we spent a few incredible days in beautiful Tigray. Arre was a very knowledgeable, warm and welcoming guide, and helped us use the two days to the maximum. He was communicative regarding aspects of the tour and shared interesting background information throughout. While there were some time constraints/issues on the last day, Arre was very accommodating to our wishes and flexible to adjust the plan. Many thanks Arre, this tour is highly recommended!

Highlight of Ethiopia - Arre is a fabulous driver and lovely person, who knows a lot about the area. I spent 5 days with him as a driver/guide and his brother,Solomun, as a guide. It was the highlight of my time in Ethiopia, and I would highly recommend Arre tours.

Memorable visit to the ancient sites of Tigray - I met Arre in Axum and after having shown me the historical (and some contemporary cultural) sights in town, we departed on a trip in his van to Gheralta. He is very good company and always ready to go the extra mile. He reads his audience well and tailors the trip to your interests. The climb and visit to Abuna Yemata was the highlight of my three week trip to Tigray/Ethiopia. Now is a good time to visit.

Ethiopia Tigray - Amazing Experience! This tour was so great to go on, I would definitely recommend it to anyone that visits tigray with Arre tours . I had no idea what to expect from tigray mountains , and this tour, and my fantastic tour guide, Arre showed me all of the amazing Tigray church and foods of tigray.Our tour guide Arre was super personable, and he made sure to ask everyone in the group what kind of foods we wanted to try, and which things we did not want to try. I felt like we saw all of the interesting things that are specific to tigray , and it was all super . Not only did we try some great hiking in gheralta but we also learned some cool history about axum about Tigray churchs . Definitely worth the trip!

Fabulous tour - I have travelled all my life having lived on 5 continents and travelled full time for the last 19 months. Arre is the most professional, knowledgeable, decent, honest guide I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I had a fabulous tour of the Tigray churches at a very competitive rate which I thoroughly enjoyed. I could not fault Arre in any way - his driving was impeccable and his knowledge of the areas was excellent. I was especially impressed that he was willing to answer ANY question that I had. Arre also invited me to a local wedding which enable to be feel part of the local culture. Arre also took care of me on days I wasn’t on the tour - interesting Axum trips, changed money at a much better rate than I could get elsewhere. He even helped booking my flight tickets. Do not hesitate to book Arre for any and every tour that you are thinking about in Ethiopia - Tigray churches, Aksum, Danakil, Semien Mountains, Lalibela….I will be returning to take more tours myself. As an aside, make sure to take US$ to Ethiopia as you will get much better deals/rates than using ATM cards.

A very nice experience - Absolutely great person and great professional. I enjoyed a lot the tour in Axum with him. He knows the culture and the nice places top visit at the good moment. He knows his job!
