Upon arrival, travelers will meet their guide and driver to embark on a picturesque drive to Hawzen, which typically takes 2-3 hours, depending on road conditions. After checking in at the Hawzen Vision Hotel and taking some time to refresh, the group will proceed to the base of Abune Yemata Guh, renowned as one of the most iconic rock-hewn churches in the area. The hike to Abune Yemata is moderately challenging, lasting about 1-1.5 hours, and includes some steep and rocky sections.
