Highlights

This tour is organised and run by locals who have lived in the Blue Mountains all their life taking you to only the best places that can be fit in in a full day tour. This full day Blue Mountains tour is exactly that, we do not attend non relevant zoos, boats etc. Scenic World has also been removed from our itinerary as it wasn’t well received by our customer base.

This adventure commences early from Sydney with a meet and greet at the pickup point. You then have a bit over an hour to acquaint yourself with the group on the bus ride heading to the outskirts of Sydney.

Once you hit the start of the Blue Mountains there is a quick stop at a local shopping village where you can have a quick toilet/food/drinks stop before heading all the way up to the amazing Three Sisters rock formations. After taking photos of the Three sisters and jaw dropping Jamison Valley we then take you on a bushwalk right up to the three sisters and even onto one of the rock formations.

We then progress further into the mountains to Wentworth Falls where your guide will take the group for a 90 min hike through the bush where you will see local fauna, bird life and see several waterfalls on your hike to the base of the immense Wentworth falls and even have a quick refreshing dip.

All that sightseeing makes people hungry so the group will relocate to a nearby area where we cook an authentic Aussie BBQ with veggies and kangaroo on the side (vegetarian/vegan options).

After lunch we continue the day of fun and head to a local and secluded waterhole where people can go swimming or lay around on the sand in the sun deep within the bush of the Blue Mountains. Then, you head off into the nearby National Park down a long dirt road to say hello to skippy the Kangaroo. This tour has had hundreds of 5 star reviews. We are a small and passionate option!

By now the day is getting on and we head back into Sydney with an approximate arrival time of 6:00pm. We often conclude our day together at the Central Sydney bar.

One of Sydney’s top-rated experiences is available through our relaxed Blue Mountain tours. We conduct these tours with a casual, fun-focused approach, aiming to create the feeling of a group of friends on a day trip, rather than a formal tour.

We have been operating this adventure for quite a while, providing assurance that we will take you to the best, less-frequented destinations in the Blue Mountains. These include waterfalls, impressive lookouts, a stop at a local Glenbrook cafe, the Three Sisters at Katoomba, and other locations where you might spot a kangaroo, numerous bird species, and more. We also steer clear of mainstream bus locations and crowded tourist spots, aiming for a thorough, undisturbed Blue Mountains experience. Australian snacks like Tim Tams & Vegemite are part of the package!

  • Please do not print off your booking voucher. Just have it on your phone. No point wasting your time and our paper
  • In regards to reviews, a vast majority are actually over on TripAdvisor opposed to the very small amount here
  • Update March 2024We have noticed an increase of dingoes (wild dogs) in the area scaring off the kangaroos. We also hope that this will return to normal asap. This has affected all tours mentioning wild kangaroos. Apologies
  • We highly recommend travel insurance in Australia as our emergency fees are quite high for non citizens

Magnificent views and great escort. Highly recommend - Excellent trip. Tom was a very good guide and we were never rushed. Unfortunately due to the recent rain the excursion was modified but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The trip was quite exhausting as there was a lot of walking and steps involved. We are aged 69/70 and we managed most of it, but towards the end we missed a climb down. Magnificent views. Picnic was very good too. 10/10

Absolutely phenomenal - Absolutely phenomenal. All of the views were Absolutely stupendous and while the walk to the waterfall was an absolute mission the view from the bottom was well worth it. The tour guide (Trent) was Absolutely fantastic and made our first experience with a tour amemorable one. And the lunch was absolutely not what you'd expect for the cost of the tour(as cheap as it is compared to the rest) was actually delicious! And they had options for all kinds of dietary restrictions. 100% worth everything 10/10 would do again.

Good short hikes in the Blue Mountains - This is for people who want to hike a little in the Blue Mountains, but hiking boots are not necessary. It was well organized, with a little time for exploring in most of the places we stopped. Our excellent driver and guide Tom kept us all moving and made sure even the dawdlers didn't allow us down too much.

Amazing look round the Blue Mountains - What a great look round the Blue Mountains, which are beautiful. Great descriptions from the guide, and a quiz to keep you entertained on the way. If you don’t have a head for heights - stop at the top of the waterfall - just sayin’!!!

How many steps……? - A great day out, stopped at several lookout locations to take photos with Wentworth Waterfalls an experience to get too but worth it. Our guide Tom was informative with a quizz on the transfer, which got the small group all talking to each other. Like the small group tours. Good value for money and would recommend.

A great day that was good value - A great day out in the Blue mountains with Tom from Coast Warriors. My daughter and I really loved everything about the day . A great intro to the Blue Mountains, well timed , great lunch baguette, Tom made it fun but also was very knowledgeable about the bush . We walked a long way and even the 400 steps to Wentworth Falls was definitely worth it .

Missed pickup for tour because directions were misleading. - Incorrect /misleading pickup instructions. Pickup address of 812 George street was in the 700 block, not in the 800 block. Who in their right mind does this. We waited 30 minutes at the start of the 800 block, which later I verified was actually 816 George street. Also pickup description was nearby St. Lawrence church. Where we waited was "nearby". The description did not say "at", "Next to" or "by" the church which would have been more specific. Because the street bent 45 degrees, we couldn't see what was happening in front of the church.
