A unique way to experience Denali! - A beautiful ride through the woods! Guides and horses were amazing. All this followed by a delicious dinner that was included with our ride. Definitely would do this again.

What a way to see some of Alaska - We had a great time doing a horse drawn carriage ride despite it being rainy. Blankets were provided in the wagon and our tour guide was awesome! Once we arrived we were greeted with a warm chocolate chip cookie. We took a beautiful ride down the trail with beautiful views until we got to our eating location. The food kept coming! Potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, vegetable chili, chicken, ribs, and salmon! We took a nice ride back and received dessert for the bus ride home! I highly recommend this excursion as all 6 in my party highly enjoyed seeing part of Alaska this way!

Go for the ride and scenery, not the food - We loved our wagon ride, pulled by Bolt and Blizzard. The driver and our guide Ilsa were great, giving us so much information about the horses and the area. The opportunity to see such varied terrain up close was unforgettable. The meal however was mediocre at best, apart from the warm chocolate chip cookies.

Expected better - It was rainy and muddy which put a damper on what could have made it a better experience. The food was just fair, however the coffee was good.

So-so excursion. Good Ride, so-so dining - The covered wagon part was fine. The guides were funny, friendly and very informative. The ride was peaceful with great views of the area. We arrived at the dinner area and were given a warm chocolate chip cookie, which is an odd treat before dinner. Dinner was family style and various potato and pasta salad was placed on the table. Drinks were ordered and brought out hap-hazardly. The various guides were servicing the tables. Each course came on it's own. We waited a while for the Vegie chili, chicken, and ribs. The chili was liquid and placed on a plate, which made it hard to eat, and not very good. The chicken and ribs were just ok. A small piece of salmon finally came to the table. it was cold and not very tasty. Dessert was a cobbler which was rushed out before we were asked to move back outside for anyone interested in taking photos with the horses. The ride part is nice, but the dinner, although plenty was offered, was not worth the price. Make is a ride and cookie and cut the price.
