• Heber City - Get ready to embark on a gentle journey through the picturesque landscapes heading toward Bald Knoll peaking out of the Uinta Mountain Range. We traverse along Forest Road 309, you will be captivated by the views that unfold. We will reach a lookout point where the entire Heber Valley stretches out below you, offering a panoramic vista that extends all the way to the majestic Mount Timpanogos. Set off on an adventure to a viewpoint overlooking the scenic Heber Valley! Imagine driving along forest road 309, enveloped by the splendor of nature, for about an hour of leisurely exploration. During the journey, you might spot wildlife, adding an element of thrill to your trip. Upon reaching the summit, you’ll be greeted by a breathtaking view of Heber Valley, with the majestic Mount Timpanogos in the background.

There are no restrooms along the route, but taking breaks to explore on foot and snap photos is encouraged. Temperatures can drop 10-15 degrees from the valley to the viewpoint. Doors can be open or closed, and the outside elements (often dust!) might find their way inside. If it rains, expect to get wet or muddy. Heat is generally not a concern, but it can become chilly, especially in the evenings or if a storm suddenly appears. It’s highly recommended to book this trip 1.5 hours before sunset. Snow less than 1 foot deep usually doesn’t hinder us.

• While getting in the Jeep may be challenging for some we will do our best to accommodate all. The ride will be bumpy and doors may be off, you can choose. Seatbelts are required. This journey works well for those who experience frequent mobility challenges. Getting in and out of the jeep will be the most difficult task! The roads are bumpy!
