Worth Every Penny!!! - There is so much to do and see in Egypt. I highly recommend this tour guide group. We were meet at every entrance to ensure our safety and comfortability. As of May 2024, you are unable to exchange American currency for Egyptian pounds in any of the airports. Our first driver took us to an ATM, checked the location (with us standing there). He didn't feel right about it so we went to another one. We received history from everyone from the tour guide company. There were no unanswered questions. If it was on the list to do, we did it. The hot air balloon ride may change according to the weather, which is not something they can control (safety first). The overnight train ride does make many stops (but it's a train). I recommend upgrading to first class for the small amount of money they ask for. You will want the A/C in Egypt. The days start early (some times with a 3am or 4am) wake up call. It's to get you out of the heat before it's unbearable. Most of the Nile boat travel is at night so get your pictures when you return from your daily tours. We opted for a couples massage on the boat. The boat is a smaller version of an American cruise ship (we know the cost of a massage on them). Our couples massage was $50.00 per person. So worth it as you do a lot of walking on the tours. Wear comfy shoes you don't mind getting sand in. The food was well prepared. I felt bad for the tipping but our tour guide gave us amounts that were well suited for tipping. We had $100 for tipping for 8 days (other than our main tour guide). It was more than enough. Every one was kind and courteous. Very respectable. May is the end of their season as the temperatures continue to rise. I would suggest going prior to this as many things will start closing. Buy your water and snacks at the markets. Water was around .85 for a liter. If possible, request Ahmed. He's the best.

Amazing - I am not a worldly traveller but when my daughter asked if I wanted to go to Egypt for 3 weeks I could not say no. She gave me a list of things she wanted to see and do so I went looking and found this wonderful tour that checked everything on the list. It made me comfortable knowing we would have someone taking care of all our needs as we learnt to navigate this new country. Mona was literally our guardian angel. We only spoke through WhatsApp so never met in person but she anticipated every need, checked in on us every single day (sometimes more than once) to make sure we got to where we were supposed to be. She made sure we had a contact for every trip/tour ahead of time, and sent us pictures of our tickets. Even after our tour was done and she was no longer responsible for us she still checked in to make sure we were ok. She is the best- thank you Mona 💞! We got Rocky as our tour guide for the Nile River cruise- proud and honored to say we are now “Rocky family”. He is amazing to say the least. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about Egyptian history and the work he does. He made sure we had fun no matter what we were doing, told us stories with us as the characters so we could remember the stories, made suggestions for things we could do, and truly did things that were beneficial to us and our experience. We will be forever greatful that he was chosen as our tour guide. For a new traveller or and experienced one you can not go wrong with this tour. The employees are top rate.

Mohamed Sayed, best guide in Cairo/ Giza - My family and I enjoyed our 8 night Egypt tour. To highlight, our trip started off great when Mohamed Sayed picked my family and I up directly from Cairo airport. Where he got us settled at our hotel. Then, on the next day, Mohamed Sayed arrived to pick my family and I up right on time to start our first day of our tour. At Sayed’s suggestion, we decided to visit Saqqara catacombs and pyramids. This was an amazing experience. Sayed’s knowledge on the sites he shared with us along with his relationships and knowledge of the local area lead us to some amazing sites and allowed us to experience more of the local culture.

Mohamed Shakour, Best Tour Guide in the Industry - Mohamed Shakour has been one of the most amazing tour guides for our Nile River trip from Luxor to Aswan. His knowledge in Egyptology and the culture is unmatched and the best in the industry. His hospitality and willingness and desire to get to know you will make you feel more welcome than anyone can possibly make a person feel. Along with Shakour’s knowledge is his patience to answer any question a person may have on their mind. Therefore, my family and I have taken more away from this short trip in 4 days than a lifetime of watching Nat Geo on TV.

Can't say enough about our guide Owf Naggar! - We met up with Owf in Luxor, when we were getting on the Tulip boat to take our cruise to Aswan. Owf - or Owfie as we called him! was a spectacular guide with a warm, caring manner who made us feel informed, cared for and educated every step of the way. He was patient as we dealt with the heat, listened when we needed a break and always was sweet and kind to us! We had fun with him, as a friend, as we cruised the Nile, went to the Nubian village and tried many local dishes. He understood we were foodies who craved the local experience! His knowledge of history and the many temples and antiquities we saw was so impressive. But he was FUN too! We miss you Owfie!

Excellent - " Here tours " is a totally professional travel company and we travelled with them . the whole tour was excellent and the support staff is of top quality. The driver Yousry in Cairo , to the guide Ramzee on the Cruise were all very good. Also the lady who called herself Ali was always there to help . Overall highly impressed with them and will certainly recommend . We opted for chair car on train journey . Depends if you can sleep in sitting position it is perfect or else opt for sleeper berth ( Extra ) . Also the total entrance fee to various temples works out to approx 120 USD per person

Bucket list trip! - Our family of 8 adults enjoyed experiencing the country and culture. The sights were amazing and we had many great meals. All the guides and drivers were great. Mohamed el Khady was with us most of the time, in Aswan and Luxor, and was very knowledgeable, always answered all our questions, and was very helpful if we needed assistance. He always had a cheerful attitude! Mona was absolutely amazing at coordinating everything, helping us immediately with any changes or questions, and checking on us daily to see how we were doing. She was so helpful and we really appreciated knowing she was there if we needed her. We saw a lot and had a great time together!

Fantastic - This was an amazing trip. Thank you Mona who was monitoring the entire trip and making sure I was okay. Owf who was great while I was in Aswan and Luxor. He made sure I visited all the sites and provided the information needed. Yasmin who helped me while in Giza. She was also great. Finally, Salin who tried to make me smile while in Alexandria. Thank you all.

Worst travel experience - My feedback about the trip- it was amazing to see those places, but we picked the wrong travel agency, “Here Egypt Tour.” First of all, she put us in such a terrible hotel in Giza, with only two tiny, dirty rooms for six of us. There was hair on the beds, bedsheets were yellow, full of flies and mosquitoes, and my wife had to mop the rooms herself because the floor was too dusty. And she told us there’s no way to upgrade until the last night that we were in Cairo. We did not get the tour guide that we expected. I know things happened, but that’s unprofessional to do so. We had no idea what’s going on, who will pick us up and where to go. We had to request to take us to McDonald’s or KFC or it seemed that we had no dinner to eat except for the first day. The cruise rooms were better compared to what we had in Giza, of course, but if you look around other cruises, there were so many better choices than ours. But that’s ok and we’re not completely about the cruise part. You left us unattended when we arrived Cairo from Aswan the last day. We had no idea where to go, and there’s cab driver kept bugging us saying that International transfer was 5km away so there’s no way that we could get there. And when we finally found the shuttle ourselves and got to terminal 3, the checkin counter wouldn’t open until 3.5 hours later. So we, the whole family had to sit in the lobby hall and waited there for another 3.5 hours without even able to check in. That was just terrible. I guess it was my mistake for believing that you guys would offer us a good trip. There was another travel agent that my wife made contact with back then, but I turned her down because I thought you guys would be better. I trusted that giving you my itinerary and schedule, you would arrange everything because you’re the expert. I didn’t expect that we’d have to be on top of every detail or else things would just fall apart like what we experienced. We would not recommend them to any of our friend or family. This is my feedback about that trip.
