Unforgettable Experience!!! - My family and I had an absolutely incredible experience in Egypt. The trip was extremely well organised and offered the perfect balance of discovering ancient Egyptian history and experiencing the country’s culture and traditions. In Cairo, our guide Omar was kind, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. He made every site interesting and was always willing to answer our questions. He went above and beyond to help us capture memories, taking photos for us and being incredibly patient while we explored at our own pace. He made getting around Cairo easy and enjoyable, and we always felt well looked after during our time there. During our time in Luxor and Aswan, we were part of a wonderful group, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Michael, our guide on the Nile cruise, truly became like a friend to us. He was fun, enthusiastic, passionate, kind and incredibly down to earth. Every day we were excited for the next day’s tours because we knew we would be spending the day with him. He had a brilliant sense of humour, making the experience fun while still being informative, and he was always patient, answering everyone’s questions and ensuring that everyone felt included and valued. Michael’s warmth and friendliness made each visit not just a tour, but a genuinely memorable experience. What made the trip even more exceptional was Essam, who organised the tour with remarkable flexibility and attention to detail. He arranged an additional visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum with hotel pickup, airport drop off and a full day guide and driver, all at very short notice the day before. Essam also organised excellent meals, including an Indian restaurant, which was extremely thoughtful. His flexibility, care and organisation enhanced the entire experience and left a lasting impression on us. The cruise itself was stunning, and the staff demonstrated outstanding hospitality, making every aspect of the trip seamless. Overall, the drivers, hotels and cruise arrangements all ran smoothly, and we encountered no issues whatsoever.

Best Egypt Trip #2 - We had a great experience with our guides and drivers. Essam customized our tour, as we had been to Cairo and taken the river cruise on an earlier visit. (Which Egypt Best tours handled as well). We were treated very well and everything was arranged with no issues. I would highly recommend them!

Great Egyptian experience - My friends and I had a great experience during our vacation in Egypt. Our guide Super Mo was very knowledgeable and fun to be around. We felt safe and well taken care of. The food was great as well. We enjoyed visiting the pyramids, the value of the kings, the river, Nile, etc. If we come back, I will definitely get Mo to take us around

Here's what you need to know - First, the short-and-sweet version: if you want to have anything like a full Egypt experience, you're going to want to take an all-inclusive tour package. The logistics of flying within the country, booking a Nile cruise, arranging temple/tomb tours, etc, would frankly be a titanic pain for anyone to attempt for themselves. Happily, Egypt Best Vacations does a splendid job of taking care of all of the details for you, so that all you have to do is show up and enjoy yourself. They start practically from the moment you step off the plane, shepherding you to your first destination and your guide. During my trip I had two: Sam for the Nile river portions, and Sultan guided me through Cairo and environs. Both were very friendly and knowledgeable, the latter even having a degree in Egyptology which was great for a history buff like myself. I took a cruise ship down the nile, enjoying many interesting spots along the way, then back up to Cairo to see the pyramids/Sphinx/etc before returning home. This is an excellent combination, giving one a broad spectrum of experiences, and I recommend it (n.b.: the tour tagged in this review is not the same itinerary as mine, but it does cover most of the same ground). Things to know: * Be sure and bring a fair amount of cash for tips: the usual is about $20/day for guides and $10/day for drivers (unless you go on a particularly long trip like Abu Simbel, in which case $20 would be appropriate). * Security in the middle east is very strict, so expect to have your bag scanned pretty much anywhere you go (I highly recommend getting a shoulder-strap pack just big enough to carry your trip essentials in). * If any souvenirs grab your eye, talk to your guide; they know where to get good quality and a reasonable price. The merchants are extremely aggressive; just keep walking and don't make eye contact. * If you like fruit juice and come from the 'States, good news: here it's almost always fresh, not the concentrate stuff we're used to. Drink deep and enjoy. * OTOH, avoid the tap water. My guide informed me there's oil (among other things) in the water, and is not for drinking. You'll notice everyone drinks bottled water. They know what they're doing. Overall, it is an unforgettable experience. It's a very different world from what one is used to, but isn't that the point of travel? I had a most wonderful time, and can recommend the company and my guides without hesitation. If you're in the decision-making mode for a future Egypt vacation, you cannot go wrong with these people.

3 beautiful days on felucca - Actually it was a 3 days, 2 nights felucca cuise from Aswan to Kom Ombo. I was travelling with my son (23 yo) and we enjoyed it very much. The Nubian sailors were absolutely kind, the boat was simple but comfortable and relaxing, food very good, landscape beautiful. Our guide was not the best, but he is not the only one. The best part of our travel to Egypt!
