Giza Pyramids and Egyptian Museum Day Tour
Pyramids of Giza - Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a meeting with our knowledgeable English-speaking Egyptologist guide. Your first stop will be the iconic Pyramids of Giza, where you’ll visit the remarkable structures of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. These ancient wonders are watched over by the majestic limestone Sphinx, guarding the plateau. After exploring the pyramids, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at one of our local restaurants.
Egyptian Museum - Next, you’ll visit The Egyptian Museum, home to over 250,000 artifacts showcasing a rare collection of Egyptian art spanning more than 5,000 years. Don’t miss the Tutankhamun exhibit, which features treasures, jewelry, and gold that were found in his tomb, untouched for over 3,500 years until its discovery in 1920. After your day of exploration, you’ll return to your hotel in Cairo for the night.
Flight to Luxor - Luxor East Bank - Nile Cruise
Luxor International Airport - Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Our representative will meet you at the hotel to assist with your transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival at Luxor Airport, you will be transferred to your Nile Cruise in a private air-conditioned van. Check-in will be available before 12:00 PM.
Temple of Karnak - In the afternoon, explore the East Bank of Luxor, home to the Karnak Temple Complex—one of the largest religious structures in human history. The main temple is dedicated to the god Amun Ra, revered as the earthly residence of the divine. While the principal structures date back to the Middle Kingdom, some references suggest that earlier buildings may date as far back as the 3rd Dynasty.
Luxor Temple - Next, you’ll visit the Temple of Luxor, originally built by a king of the 12th dynasty and later completed by the renowned Ramses II. This temple, situated in the heart of ancient Thebes, is dedicated to the chief god Amun Re, just like Karnak. After your day tour, you’ll be transferred back to your ship to relax and refresh. In the evening, enjoy an Egyptian folkloric show hosted by the staff, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in Luxor.

Temple of Kom Ombo - In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. After your exploration, return to your ship and take in the stunning views of the Nile River, where the ancient Egyptian civilization once thrived. Enjoy dinner on board as you sail toward the city of Aswan. You will arrive in Aswan late in the evening and spend the night on board.

Aswan High Dam - Enjoy breakfast on board your ship. Afterwards, join your Egyptologist tour guide for an exploration of the magnificent city of Aswan. You’ll visit the High Dam, constructed by President Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 to safeguard Egypt from the Nile’s flooding
Temple of Philae - Next, you’ll sail on the Nile River aboard a motorboat until you reach Agilika Island. Here, you’ll explore the Temple of Philae, built during the Greco-Roman period and dedicated to the goddess Isis, the mother of Horus.
Unfinished Obelisk - To conclude your day, you’ll be escorted to one of Aswan’s remarkable sights: the Unfinished Obelisk. Crafted from red granite, this monumental structure was dedicated to the god Amun Ra. After your tour, you’ll return to your ship, where lunch will be served on board. Abu Simbel Temple Complex - Enjoy a breakfast box from your ship before checking out. You will then be transferred by a private air-conditioned van to Abu Simbel. This ancient site, originally known as Meha, was first documented during the 18th Dynasty, when rock-cut chapels were carved into the hills by Ay and Horemheb, Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, constructed by King Ramses II. The larger temple is dedicated to the sun god Rahorakhty, while the smaller temple honors Ramses II and his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari, After your tour, you will drive back to Aswan (approximately a 3-hour journey). Our representative will then accompany you to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo. Once you arrive at Cairo Airport, our Cairo representative will be waiting to assist you and transfer you to your hotel in a private air-conditioned van. You will be helped with your check-in. Pompey’s Pillar - Continue your Alexandria city tour with a visit to Pompey’s Pillar, which was erected in 292 AD.
