Pyramids of Giza and Saqqara - Memphis
Pyramids of Giza - The Giza Pyramids and Sphinx are not only top attractions in Egypt but also among the most significant ancient monuments globally. They are the only remaining structures from the Ancient Seven Wonders of the World. A visit to Egypt is incomplete without seeing the Pyramids of Giza. Even if you’ve been to Egypt multiple times, the Pyramids and Sphinx at the Giza plateau are must-see landmarks. Don’t forget to capture a photo in front of these iconic structures.
Step Pyramid of Djoser - The Step Pyramid, the tomb of the third Dynasty ruler Djoser, is the most prominent landmark in Saqqara. Built by Imhotep, it is considered the earliest major stone structure in Egypt. The pyramid’s form evolved from the large mastabas of the First and Second Dynasties, with six steps created by adding successive layers of masonry. Standing 60 meters high, it is constructed from locally quarried clay sandstone.
Memphis and Saqqara - Memphis was the ancient capital of Lower Egypt, known as Aneb-Hetch. Its ruins are near Mit Rahina and feature the colossal statue of King Ramses II and the alabaster sphinx of Queen Hatshepsut.

The ministry of antiquities has installed dehumidifiers and glass screens in the most affected tombs and rotates public access to preserve them.
