Ancient caves - These were some of the most interesting caves I've seen. They have been used by farmers for years but also have many craving on the walls that range from Viking Runes to ancient Celtic. The tour guide was great and answered every question and let us take plenty of pictures

Amazing tour with great guide!! - This was such an amazing experience and one of our favorite things that we have done in Iceland! We did the Luxury Tour in the evening that included local whisky tasting. The guide was so informative and knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. The caves themselves were astounding! I would recommend this 100%!

Engaging and informative tour! - Our tour guide, Hannah (I think) was amazing. She is a talented story teller, drawing us into a history that moved back in time as she guided us through the three open caves. We found the tour well worth our time!

Under the radar gem - This is a fascinating tour! The National Museum in Reykjavik documents Iceland from the Vikings’ arrival in 874 but you’ll think of things in a new way after you see the Caves of Hella. Highly recommended!

Not Disneyland. See real history. - Very interesting to learn about the earliest settlements in Iceland. To stand in the caves occupied over a thousand years ago is amazing. The guide is a great story teller who makes the stories come to life.

Go! It's fascinating! - Fascinating history here and expertly delivered by our guide, Stepan. If you have interest in the history of Iceland, this is a "can't miss" tour. So much is still unknown about the inhabitants of these caves, but the evidence points to...I won't give it away!

Beyond Expectation - Our group of 4 were on the premium tour September 27 with Stephan. The tour was beyond our expectation. Stephan was so knowledgeable of the history of the area and Iceland it was amazing. There were no questions from our group that he couldn't answer. The tastings after the tour were enjoyed. The goose was very flavorful and it's always fun to sample beer and distillaries from other areas. If you want to dig into the past of Iceland this is the tour for you!
