Your Day Tours Iceland - Just returned from Reykjavik, truly amazing! Went on several excursions but the best by far was the South coast small group tour with Your Day Tours with Anastasia as our driver/guide. She showed us everything and altered the itinerary to suit the weather. If you are intending any trips while in Iceland I strongly recommend Your Day Tours they are spot on.

Your Day Tours Rock - Our first time visiting Iceland. We did 2 excursions with Tui and the last trip we did was the South Coast Tour with “Your Day Tours” I only wish we had done the other 2 with them. They were absolutely amazing! We even stopped off at locations that wasn’t part of the tour. Anastasia went above and beyond to make our trip even more amazing than we had imagined! If you’re visiting Iceland be sure to book all your excursions with Your Day Tours. Thank you guys, you made our last day the best! Xxx

Wild Iceland South Coast - Great tour guide, comfortable bus. The trip itself was everything I hoped for and more. The weather, unpredictable! Be prepared for wind like you’ve never seen it, rain, sun, wet, cold (we went in Feb). Waterfalls, mountains, the black sand beach…so so much to see.

Amazing Day Trip! - I didn’t know what to expect from a day tour, but this one did not miss at ANY turn. Even simply the drive to and from your destinations is otherworldly. Each stop felt like its own planet and was a great reminder of just how big and beautiful our planet is. This was certainly the most bang for your buck we had while in Iceland and unforgettable experience. Our tour guide Al was amazing as well!

Great Tour - The itinerary and the driver/tour guide were great, but the weather wasn't very cooperative. We had a good time, nevertheless.

It was a rainy day when... - It was a rainy, snowy and windy day when we had the tour. The locations we visited were awesome. The driver took good care of us to ensure safety.

Very expensive for what it is - The sites were beautiful. Considering there are no entrance fees for any of the stops, the price of this tour should be wayyyyy cheaper. It mentions there is a tour guide, however, the guide doesn’t get off at every stop and doesn’t explain the background behind it so in reality it’s just having a driver take you somewhere. The price should be way cheaper due to this

“Worst Tour Experience – Avoid ‘Your Day Tours’” - Terrible guide and service. The guide was extremely rude, and the driving was so reckless that it made us feel nauseous and on the verge of throwing up. While we thoroughly enjoyed all our other Iceland tours, this one was by far the worst experience. I strongly recommend avoiding ‘Your Day Tours’ for your trip.

Not the 5-star review experience for us - I chose this tour because of the 5 star review on Viator. Pickup was easy and smooth. Once we got on our way, the driver kept receiving phone calls and, at one point, he pulled over to talk on the phone. I understand it is safer to pull over to talk but this did delay our scheduled itinerary. In addition, the communication was poor as to what we were doing and where we were going. The driver changed up the itinerary, which is fine, but we weren't quite sure of the order of the destinations. At the Solheimajokull Glacier, he told the entire bus to wait for him at the trail head. After waiting for about 15 minutes while he sat in the bus talking on the phone, we all decided to venture out on our own. It was frustrating and further delayed our agenda. We had to rush through a couple of the stops where we would have like to spend the allotted time. To give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe there was a family emergency of some sort that he had to keep taking phone calls, but we all would have been more understanding if he communicated this. Safety was also a concern because we were 5 hours into the trip before he mentioned seat belt use was a law in Iceland. Then he proceeded to pull up a video on his phone, while he was driving, and held it up to show a passenger something that was related to a question she had. He also did not seem confident driving in the snow so the ride back was nerve wracking. Overall, the sites were beautiful but I think it's the luck of the draw when you book through Viator which tour company and tour guide you end up with. We were happy to get back to Reykjavik safely, even if we were 75 minutes past the advertised end time.
