Discover the South Coast of Iceland, home to some of the country’s most stunning natural wonders. This tour, rich with options, explores the expansive southern coastal plain of Iceland, nestled between snow-capped glaciers and the sea, and traversed by some of Iceland’s mightiest rivers. The journey begins at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, set against the majestic Eyjafjallajökull glacier, and continues to the Skógarfoss waterfall and the Skógar Folk Museum. This museum, one of Iceland’s most fascinating, features buildings traditionally roofed with turf. The tour also includes visits to Dyrhólaey and Reynisfjara, the famous black sand beach.
While the south is undeniably impressive from the ground, nothing compares to experiencing it from above by snowmobiling on the Mýrdalsjökull glacier, an icecap covering one of Iceland’s largest volcanoes, Katla.
Explore and enjoy the wilderness and breathtaking views over South Iceland.
The one-hour snowmobile tour is ideal for first-time riders and those seeking a scenic, enjoyable ride, offering exploration and breathtaking views over South Iceland in good weather.
