The South Coast

Discover the South Coast of Iceland, home to some of the country’s most stunning natural wonders. This tour, rich with options, explores the expansive southern coastal plain of Iceland, nestled between snow-capped glaciers and the sea, and traversed by some of Iceland’s mightiest rivers. The journey begins at Urriðafoss, the country’s most voluminous waterfall. Next, visit the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, set against the majestic Eyjafjallajökull glacier. The tour includes a stop at the Eyjafjallajökull Visitor Center before proceeding to the Skógarfoss waterfall. Additionally, explore Dyrhólaey and Reynisfjara – the iconic black beach. Depending on the schedule, there may be additional stops on the return trip.

Paragliding Tandem Flight

Paragliding is the most serene and secure form of free flying known. A tandem flight is conducted with a skilled instructor pilot. After the wing is inflated and safety checks are completed, a few steps down a slope lead to takeoff. Please read the following information carefully before meeting for the flight.

You will need:
• Closed shoes, preferably hiking boots
• Warm clothing, as it is colder in the air than on the ground
• Gloves
• A thin hat to fit under your helmet

Flight times & duration:
• Tandem paragliding flights vary in duration, and specific flight times cannot be guaranteed due to the unpredictable nature of wind and weather conditions in Iceland
• The aim is to fly for 10-15 minutes, but if conditions are not ideal and the flight might be shorter, you will be informed beforehand.

Photography:
• Cameras can be brought at your own risk
• The pilot will have a high-definition video camera, and you can obtain the files

• Subject to favorable weather conditions. If the tour is canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund. If the Paragliding Tandem Flight is cancelled after South Coast tour has started you get 250 euros per person refund.
• Participants will be required to sign a waiver releasing the tour operator from responsibility for accidents resulting in injury
