North Moors & Whitby with Trevor! - I would recommend the trip as it was great! Trevor is so knowledgeable and lovely! He knows the history so-well and was very helpful. The trip was well-organised. North Moors and Whitby are lovely places, so beautiful. We even stopped at Byland Abbey, Hemsley and they are pretty too. Definitely going back to Whitby in the Summers.

Great Tour! - Great tour exploring Yorkshire, the Moors, and Whitby Bay. Ben was not only a considerate, excellent guide but also very knowledgeable about the history and local wildlife (which I loved). We made several stops, all of which Ben explained in detail. I learned so much, and it was truly a pleasant day. I would highly recommend Mountain Goat Tours. It was terrific!

Fun Day! - John S. was an excellent driver and tour guide. We enjoyed every explanations and stories of places and of remarkable people. Additional with the beautiful sceneries, John S made the drive more interesting, fun and really lovely. The Mountain Goats team was very approachable as well, you can truly reach out to them if you have any queries or confusion especially with the meeting point (road works at their previous meeting location). My partner and I really had an amazing and fun day tour. Kudos to the team, would love to come back someday!

Well worth the price and lovely tour guide - The tour was lovely. Our guide Barry told us a lot about history, the scenery and the local trees during the drive. The places we went to visit were very nice and worth a trip. After the guide established that no guest had to be back on time in the evening, the tour lasted even longer. There's a lot to see and hear about the destinations.

Great day out to the Moors and Whitby - A wonderful day out with driver Trevor. Though the January weather was rather gloomy we all enjoyed our stop at the atmospheric Byland Abbey and a coffee break in the lovely Helmsley. Trevor kept us entertained as we progressed to the Moors and on to a 2 hour lunch stop in Whitby (which was fabulous) followed by the Harry Potter train station at Goathland. I can't speak highly enough about this tour and would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful trip through the mist to sunny Whitby - We had a wonderful trip with our guide John. The absolutely highlight was the stop at the top of the moors, with a beautiful sunny view above the heavy mist in the valleys. The abbeys were also lovely, and we had a very nice time in Whitby, where we were able to enjoy 2h30 walking around and grabbing a bite to eat. The ride between each stop was very pleasant, even with the heavy fog John had to navigate through. It was lovely to hear not only about the history of York, the moors, and the Whitby area, but also his own more personal knowledge about the area. We highly recommend this day tour!

Good day out in the Moors with Barry - It's an amazing day out in the Moors and in Whitby. Barry, our driver and guide was brilliant. He gave us a little pamphlet with his contact details and all the stops we'd be making, which I thought was a great way of keeping everyone in the loop and a little souvenir to take back. He is very knowledgeable with the history of the various places we visited and was always happy to answer questions as we went along. He kept us engaged and interested with various stories and folklore of the little towns and villages we made our way through. There were enough comfort stops and he reminded us to just shout if anyone wanted a break anytime. He had great recommendations for lunch in Whitby. My only suggestion would be to schedule more time at the promenade around the statue of Ct. Cook at Whitby as it's a lovely spot and I wish we had more time there. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the Moors in a day and have a good laugh with Barry - thanks for being so friendly and for gifting us the beautiful wooden mouse that you hand crafted yourself!
