Landmarks and famous buildings surrounding the square are the Helsinki Cathedral, the Government Palace, main building of the University of Helsinki and the Sederholm House, the oldest building of central Helsinki dating from 1757.

Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali) - Completed in 1868 in the Katajanokka district of Helsinki, the Uspenski Cathedral is the largest orthodox church in Western Europe. With its golden cupolas and redbrick facade, the church is one of the clearest symbols of the Russian impact on Finnish history.

Kauppatori - Take a walk at Kauppatori, which means Market Square in Finnish, you will find lovely stuff for souvenirs and delicious local foods served by venders!

Old Market Hall - Enter this old market hall in Helsinki, taste some local food and pastries, and experience the Nordic daily lives.

Havis Amanda - Drop by at the little mermaid, i.e., the Amanda statue, and know more about her from stories told by your guide

The Esplanadi Park - Take a walk along this beautiful park locates in the most prosperous area of Helsinki

Helsinki Central Railway Station - Helsinki Central Station is chosen as one of the most beautiful station by BBC in 2013.
