• Kauppatori - After meeting at the meeting point and making introductions, we will walk through Kauppatori (Market Square) and have a panoramic view of some of the points we will visit.
• Allas Sea Pool - We will have a brief stop here to understand a little about Finnish customs and traditions.
• SkyWheel Helsinki - We will see the most unusual Ferris wheel in the world.
• Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali) - We will visit Uspenski Cathedral, the Orthodox church in Helsinki. We will learn more about the history of Finland, and we will be able to have a panoramic view of the northern coast of the Baltic Sea and one of the city’s most traditional neighborhoods.
• Helsinki Cathedral - We will visit Helsinki Cathedral, we will understand what it represented in history. This cathedral is the city’s most famous postcard.
• Senate Square - We will visit Senate Square, from where we will be able to see 3 emblematic tourist attractions in Helsinki, and understand how Finland came to be controlled by the Russian Empire.
• Aleksanterinkatu - We will walk along Aleksanterinkatu, a very important street in Helsinki, viewing points of interest until we reach Keskuskatu.
• Rautatientori - We will arrive at Praça da Train Station, from where we will have a privileged view of other historic buildings in the city, and we will learn about the statue and the life of one of the most famous Finns in the world.
• Helsinki Central Railway Station - We will enter the Central Station, and cross it to the opposite side, seeing what it is like inside, understanding its history, architecture, numbers, and curiosities.
• Central Library Oodi - We will arrive at Livraria Oodi, the most unusual bookstore you will ever visit. We will visit its 3 floors and understand the culture of education in Finland, which is a reference throughout the world, and the reason why Oodi is so spectacular.
• Kansalaistori - Next to Oodi is Citizen’s Square, which has the best view of the Parliament and from where we can see the Casa da Música, the Opera House, the contemporary art museum, and understand what they are.
• Mannerheimintie - We will walk along the city’s main avenue, viewing tourist attractions and emblematic places in the city.
• Swedish Theater (Svenska Teatern) - We will pass by the Swedish Theater, understanding its role in the history of Helsinki.
• The Esplanadi Park - We will cross Esplanada Park, the most beloved park among Helsinki residents. We will understand other aspects of Finnish history, culture and traditions as we cruise through the park.
• Old Market Hall - We will arrive at the Old Market, where we will have a sample of Finnish cuisine, with the possibility of tasting charcuterie and game meat, and learn about the food culture of a country where winter and frozen ground are predominant.
• Kauppatori - We will return to Market Square, where we will stroll among the street food and souvenir stalls, and where we will end our tour. You can stay here and do a little shopping, go back to the Old Market (which is next door) for a meal, or try the food at the stalls, which are delicious!
