Not experienced? No problem, you will have a great time. - On a recent weekday evening my family took the guided tour from Mattinkyla Beach in Espoo. We were completely inexperienced but Tiina was the perfect teacher and tour guide, teaching us the basics and many tips, taking our lack of experience into account but also challenging us. Her love of the sport really came through. We had a wonderful time and look forward to more kayaking in the local archipelagos.

Enjoyable Kayaking Experience in Helsinki - Tiina was a perfect guide for our Natura Viva kayaking experience, taking three totally untrained Americans and teaching us proper kayaking techniques while exploring the islands off of Helsinki. A fantastic ending to our nothern adventure! - We had an amazing time kayaking with Natura Viva the last day of our stay in Helsinki. Chris was a great guide—very friendly, discreet, polite, professional, made us feel comfortable in an instant and he explained everything we needed to know. We learned a lot, plus the Finnish nature and scenery were amazing. Great experience, totally recommended. Next time we will do the evening one! Chris, kiitos man, you rock! Moi moi!

best excursion on our cruise!! - Getting out away from the cities, getting back to nature--- was just perfect! We had perfect sunny weather and really experienced kayak guides who made it possible for even beginners to enjoy the experience!

Amazing tour - Our tour guide was amazing, born in Italy but fluent in English. We had a rather fit group so we covered much territory in our Kayak. The equipment is all excellent - individual kayaks (although you request a tandem), and their paddles were good and their life vests did not smell at all. Our tour guide provided excellent commentary. He provided us with sandwiches at our stop on an island too. The meeting place is not good for those on ships (difficult to find) and a taxi is needed (do not believe people who say you can walk there. Otherwise they drop you right back to your ship or where you may have been staying at on the way back.

Fun and relaxing - Booked through our cruise ship. This was right after a busy two-day itinerary in St. Petersburg Russia and we were so relaxed being out on open water, away from the hustle and bustle of a big city. Excellent, excellent, excellent tour. We enjoyed a delicious lunch with a sea buckthorn toast. Highly recommended to see Helsinki from a different angle. Kippis

Fun day kayaking! - It was very professionally run. We had a small group of five people plus instructor/guide. A light was provided at a small island. It is one of the best way to get close to the beautiful nature of Finland, and near Helsinki. The water/sea was gentle, and we saw loads of wildlife, including little ducklings on their mummy duck's back :)

A Perfect Way to Begin our Trip - Such a great experience! Severi was a great guide and instructor, and we enjoyed his humor! It was a wonderful way to spend a few hours acclimating to the time change and area before embarking on our cruise. Severi taught us all we needed to know to feel comfortable and be safe on the water. He served us lunch on one of the islands, all the while sharing with us the history of Finland and specifically the area we were exploring. Once we arrived home, there was an email for us with photos he had taken of us on our adventure, not to purchase, but right there ready for us to download and use as our own. So nice when you are the photographer of the family, and rarely make it in any of the photos. Severi took the pictures I included with this review. Everything was supplied for us, including raingear for once it began raining on us, which only made it more enjoyable out there on the water. They even supply aquavault type protection for cell phones, so you could take photos without worrying your phone may get wet. Transportation to and from downtown made it so easy. Thank you Severi!

Room for improvement - Great place for kayaking but I am a bit concerned about customer service. Staff were friendly and welcoming on a previous visit but yesterday was a bit disappointing. There is a sea plane in the bay and it came out and started preparing to take off as we were returning. We stopped and waited for the aeroplane to take off and arrived on the beach seven minutes late. Their first concern was to say it was twelve minutes (it wasn't, it was seven) and that they have to charge another €20. It makes my safety feel a bit cheap when I am on the water in a kayak with a sea plane taking off. Not an ideal situation for a sports club. It is a pity because otherwise it is a great place. I hope that they will address the issue.

Kayak trip that wasn’t - They never showed up. We and another group arrived half an hour early at the appointed place and they never showed up. When we called we were told there had been a mistake. No apologies, no attempt to explain.
