Very good option to know more about Finland - Good service, Attentive Guide very entertaining and let us know quite a lot about each island history what was in each of them etc. It is fascinating to see you on the map where you are located and to be able to see even far away what is on each island and especially how they connect with each other

Cold but beautiful - We were lucky to enjoy the tour on a sunny day in the last day of September. The view on the open deck was fascinating, but it was a bit cold. It reminds me of the cruise in Stockholm.

Canal cruising in Helsinki - I found the cruise very enjoyable. It revealed more interesting places around Helsinki that would not have been seen unless you were on the boat. The running commentary was informative and in English. Sitting outside was better for the view and the refreshing sea breeze.

Good to see outside Helsinki proper - A good experience to see outside of Helsinki City Centre and see the beautiful islands of Finland. The scenery is stunning and well worth viewing. The commentary is difficult to hear on the top of the ship, particularly when it is windy. There were also some interesting sites on the tour that we saw but weren’t explained in the commentary (which was pre-recorded).

Protocol on the top deck did not feel safe - Our group took a canal cruise this August. The boat we were on had an open top deck where the rear of the deck was raised (i.e. was higher than at the front of the boat). The trip itself was lovely, but as the boat passes under several bridges (on the canal cruise) it comes very close to a number of the bridges; so close that for safety they clear the raised part of the top deck from passangers each time. The way they arranged this felt dangerous - we got no prior warning and suddenly a staff member gestures for us to get down. One of the other passagers unfortunately then sat down on the stairs preventing some of us from coming down and there was no time to get down safely. By this time the front of the boat was already starting to pass under the bridge and we had to duck quickly onto the floor or squeeze down to our seats to protect ourselves as the brige was getting close to our heads. I think they should not be allowed to use that (taller) boat to pass under low bridges, as any process which relies on a staff member remembering each time to usher people away from their seats cannot be fail-proof.
