A Great Tour in Helsinki - This was my first visit to Helsinki and as usual I look for a city and food tour that will give me the lay of the land. This wonderful tour gave me both Lara as she asked me to call her was an exceptional tour guide. She had an exceptional knowledge of the history of Helsinki and Finland, the high points and key places to visit and as well and exceptional knowledge of the cuisine of the city and the country. she was a wonderful and friendly person who was concerned not only for doing a great job but also in care of her attendees. I will definitely recommend this tour to others and when I return to Helsinki, I will definitely take it again.

Tried Many Finnish Foods! - Lara, our tour guide, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about Helsinki and taught us a lot about the local foods. Even though we experienced some rainy weather, she made sure we had a comfortable and thorough experience. The food vendors were fun and enthusiastic. We also learned a lot about the city itself and its rich history and she gave us more food recommendations for later on in our trip.

History and food - Lara was friendly, easy to talk to, and incredibly knowledgeable in regards to Finnish history and architecture. We tried new foods at the market(reindeer, moose, and bear), and she gave excellent recommendations for other places to see and eat at. Absolutely recommend!

Walking food tour of Helsinki - Larisa did a great job with this tour. She was friendly, on time, and very knowledgeable regarding the area and its history. The tour was briskly paced with a good number of stops and lots of things to see and taste along the way. The tour covered a good part of the harbor and old town, was a great introduction to Helsinki, and provided insight for circling back to other places of interest. Excellent value and a really nice way to spend the day. Highly recommended!

Amazing tour and food tasting in Helsinki - I would like to express my deep gratitude to Lara for an amazing tour and food tasting experience! it rained the day of the tour and I came close to cancelling; so glad I didn't. Lara is so knowledgeable of the history of Finland and Helsinki, presenting the information in a story format which is both informative and entertaining. The food tasting was amazing, allowing a brief peak into the local market, seasonal fruits, and local delicacies. She was very accommodating. My only regret is that I did not have more time in my schedule to walk around and learn/taste more.

A great way to taste the city - My husband and I enjoyed our tour so much. The first half was history and architecture, and the second half was tastings. Although I didn't care for most of the food, it was good to be able to taste so many authentic Finnish delicacies.

A very small taste for a not small amount of money. - I enjoyed meeting my fellow tourist from the USA. However, this food tour was a disappointment for the amount of money I paid. It was a tasting of Finnish foods but very few foods. On previous tours, the guide took us to local restaurants, so just visiting Market Hall left me hungry. Why wasn’t there a few stops at the booths outside along the harbor? I had hoped to try salmon soup and at least one pastry.
