Great experience - David was a great hiking guide. We got the opportunity to walk across a frozen lake and went for a lovely hike through Nuuksio. He had some spikes for our boots to share for the group as well. We were able to have a very delicious lunch at the top of a hill in the park - mushroom soup and some hot glogg. I highly recommend this tour if you are low on time in Helsinki as the included transport from and to the city center makes it easy to fit into any schedule.

Amazing! - Everything was great! From hiking in the ice/snow, to trekking on the frozen lake. The spice tea and mushroom soup were so good. The hike was not too hard, but also not too easy! Just right!

Nature at its finest - Absolutely picture perfect weather. Plenty of snow , no wind & clear skies. David is a great guide & it’s so peaceful & serene to get out into nature. The mushroom soup was beautiful & I would thoroughly recommend this activity

Great escape to nature! - This was a really nice half day trip to get out of the city. David communicated wonderfully the entire time. The meeting location was very central and very easy to find. I did this trip in winter and the park was so magically fille with snow covered trees, but that didn't stop us from learning about the local flora and fauna. We had a little extra time so we climbed up to an overlook and had great views. David provided wonderful snacks and a delicious mushroom soup for lunch. He spent the time talking to all of us and really cared for the group. I'm so happy I booked this and I definitely recommend it for a little get away from the city. The hike itself was easy and all ages could do it.

We had the pleasure of... - We had the pleasure of joining a guided tour by David through Nuuksio National Park, and we couldn't be more impressed. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, offering fascinating insights into the local flora and wildlife. The hike was well-paced, with plenty of opportunities to stop, learn, and take in the stunning natural beauty. The trails were peaceful. We especially appreciated the guide's enthusiasm and the way he adjusted the experience to the group's interests. By the way he is a good photographer :). During the hike he served us warm “Glögi” with finish sweets and at the end we ate his self made mushroom soup with mushrooms he harvested himself, delicious! Whether you're a nature lover or just looking for a relaxing escape, this tour is an absolute must. All in all it was a great experience, thank you!! :)

Magic in the woods - This was just the best hike ever. David loves what he does and has figured out the best way to do it all. It was so fun to find and identify mushrooms and berries (including ones hiding in the bog.) I thought having the yummy soup at the end of the hike sitting on furs in a lovely spot by a lake was brilliant. It gave us the maximum time to hike in the woods and meant we didn’t have to wait to heat up the soup. Sharing a meal was a lovely way to finish our time together.

Wonderful experience! - Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He also made very good mushroom soup! He was able to answer all of our questions about the forest and we had quite an enjoyable time. Highly recommend him!

Great half day just away from Helsinki - We hiked a loop in Nuuksio National Park we our guide, David. The weather was cold but did not rain. It was easy even for4 seniors in a group of eight. David gave a lot of information and the snacks provided were excellent. Had a great morning. The drive to and fro was very beautiful with the fall season colors in full glory. Recommend this hike for all.
