Great tour to see a few places in Crete - Great value and wonderful tour to see 2 beaches with unbelievably clear blue water. The view from the boat was amazing. The tour guide was well -organized considering the large group size. Highly recommend. The town of Rethymno was pretty- would have liked more time there.

Preveli beach cruise and all its beauty - Absolutely fantastic day out. Prevelia beach is just like being in the Caribbean. Great for snorkeling too. Would definitely visit again.

Great experience! - Thank you for another amazing experience, Cretan Odyssey! It was a beautiful tour with a beautiful and friendly guide Elena. The boat trip was fantastic, the palm beach is something unique. We had enough time to explore the town of Rethymnon and enjoy the beach. Special thanks to professional drivers who picked us up and always drove on time! Bravo 👏🏻

Amazing day out discovering more of Crete - The tour was a perfect mix of relaxation, adventure and exploring. We enjoyed learning more about Crete on the bus drive and got to experience everything that we were told about. At each stop there was enough time to take pictures, relax, explore, swim, eat or have a drink. Definitely take your time to have an incredible lunch at one of the local taverns at Damnoni. The tour guide was professional and nice. She is was very approachable and took the time to talk to each participant of the trip. My favorite part of the trip was the beautiful nature that we saw on the drive from Heraklion to Damnoni Beach. My partner and I were both amazed by the breathtaking landscape. Thank you Cretan Odyssey!

Beautiful beach - Preveli Beach is a beautiful beach surrounded by palm trees. The descent, however, is a small challenge

Preveli natural beach - A nice natural beach, where a mountain lined with palm trees, the river descends into the sea, leaving a sandy beach between the river and the sea. There are round stones in the water, so wading shoes are recommended. Open terrace cafeteria with toilets excists. You should come to the beach a few kilometers away from the village of Plakia by water transport (round trip €12).

Be prepared for a long journey - Picked up this tour at 7.50am from a hotel outside Heraklion it then took over 3 hours to reach Damnoni beach with a stop along the way for a comfort break. The coach was a double decker packed with various nationalities and although there was a toilet on board we were not permitted to use it. The tour guide repeated the same information in several languages which made it really tedious listening and I'd recommend booking a tour specifically for your chosen language. We arrived at Damnoni beach and the boat was waiting for us, this had toilets on board, and it was a 30 minute jaunt along the coast toe Preveli beach. Being a tourist attraction it was extremely busy and we opted for a walk through the palm trees and a very quick dip in the sea before we had to catch the boat back. I actually preferred Damnoni beach which had restaurants and was far less crowded. The final visit was to Rethymnon town which I thought was lovely. Plenty of places to eat, shop and sightsee. The whole day was about 11 hours but we only spent about 4 at the various places so not really the most enjoyable of days for us. Definitely take snacks and plenty of drinks.

Worst excursion I have been on - 13 HOURS !!!!! Mostly on a red hot crowded coach Tour guide not good, rushing us constantly Nothing worth travelling all that way for Out of 13 hours maybe off coach 5 hours No Lunch provided Yes preveli was pretty but by that time we were over it,just crowded into run down cafe and waited 40 mins to get some fries because children were starving by this time,so many people and 2 toilets WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND DOING THIS TOUR
