Heraklion - We will start collecting participants from pick-up points in the morning.
Depending on the place of your hotel/apartment the bus ride will differ. -
The Palace of Knossos - Knossos, the mythical labyrinth and ancient capital of Minoan Crete, 5000years ago.
Our participants will enter the Archaeological Site with our Representative in order to attend a Guided Tour for about 1 hour & 20 minutes and then enjoy some free time to take photos and admire the historic Minoan place.
Participants have to wait in line, in order to receive their tickets and enter the Palace. - Heraklion - After leaving the Palace of Knossos, our bus will take us to the city of Heraklion. There participants will attend a guided tour in the city center and the historical part of Heraklion followed by 2h30min free time at the old market for walking, photos and shopping.
Optional: The visit to the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion, is optional and will be a without tour guide as the covid regulation for visiting the museum as group, is very strict and would take too much time and high cost.

Heraklion - Embarkation in the buses and drive back to the hotels where we gathered participants in the morning.
Depending on traffic and on the pick-up places of each one, the time of journey back to the hotel will differ.

A Must! - Our primary goal was to explore Knossos Palace, and it certainly did not disappoint. We had a great time strolling through the city and touring the fort. The trip was excellently planned and would recommend this if you want to get a feel of the city.

Great tour - Very professional, knowledgeable (studied archeology!) and yet entertaining guide for the Knossos Palace and Heraklion's old town, both in English and (practically perfect) German; extra guide for French speakers. Tour was well organized and ran absolutely smoothly. Short-term booking (just one day in advance) was no problem, easy and friendly e-mail communication with backoffice. Tour was definitely worth the money, highly recommend it.

Trip to Knossos recommended to Italians - It is the second trip with odyssey, everything perfect, Italian guide, just very hot in the archaeological site tip hat.
As usual fantastic our transfer Zaccaria who speaks great Italian drives well and from great advice, very helpful makes you feel at home, advice to Italians

Knossos and town tour - Pick up from hotels was well organised and the trip to the palace was good- our guide was really knowledgeable. You get ear pieces to wear so you can move to shadier areas or away from the group a bit and still hear what she was saying. The town tour was brief but interesting and we enjoyed having time to sit down for a cold drink and then wander the market and shopping areas.

Pleasant visit - We started by visiting Knossos Palace, our guide was friendly and his comments very interesting. We continued with the visit of heraklion. A little disappointing, only half an hour.

Knossos Palace amazing. Extended pickup drive not so much… - Our guide, Soula, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and good at keeping a large group moving.
On the downside the pickup from multiple locations was extremely time consuming. It would be good to have an option to allow those that want to meet at the first point of interest at a predetermined time to do so. Especially as it is not that far from the centre of Heraklion.

Not impressed.. - Basically we paid for the bus and the tour guide only! We had to buy the tickets ourselves! Last time I did this tour, many years ago now, it was all included. The tour guide only had an hour to take everyone around and from experience it takes a bit longer than that. It would have been cheaper to catch the regular bus and spend time walking round the site!
