Hop on, hop off bus tour in Heraklion - We had an excellent experience on the hop on, hop off tour in Heraklion. There was a lot of brilliant communication from a very friendly and helpful representative called Jackie - and we are really grateful to her for all she did. It was very good value too, as you can use your ticket for 2 days.

Wonderful Experience with a Warm and Knowledgeable Guide! - We had such a lovely time on this tour—everything was well organized, informative, and enjoyable from start to finish. Our guide was incredibly kind and attentive, sharing helpful tips and interesting facts that really brought the experience to life. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and welcomed, even sending us messages during the tour to highlight key spots along the way.

Love Crete and the Hop on Hop Off Bus - The information provided on how to get back to the port was very accurate and helpful. I was concerned because there’s multiple colors of buses used but I made it around to the different stops and back to the port without any problems. As always, the information provided via the audio is wonderful!!!

Great HoHo Trip! - It was a great day to unwind, chill and have us driven around this lovely city. Efi greeted us with a smile. She was helpful and pleasant. Her English was impeccable. The bus was clean. The recorded tour was interesting. We always seek out the HoHo bus to give us the highlights. Then we explore the attractions on our own. Get back on the bus at our leisure and continue or go around again. They respect their schedules. Efi coincidentally was at the downtown stop upon our return. We shared some observations and laughs. It became a day filled with lovely memories.

Great Historical Bus Ride - What a pleasant way to get a quick historical tour of Heraklion, Crete. Allows you to hop off and back on. Definitely recommend .

Cancelled at very short notice, after payment taken - I received a message the day before my trip saying that the trip was cancelled. I was offered alternative days, but I already had other trips planned on those days, so it was not possible to accept this. I was also offered a refund, which they said would be processed yesterday. I have not yet received this. I will get in touch with the company if I haven't received my refund in the next couple of days. This was particularly disappointing as the whole point of this trip was to get to know the city on the first day of our holiday. We were also frustrated as we noticed that other open top tours were operating on that day.

Don’t use this Hop on Hop off Tour! - We do not recommend this whatsoever. There are 3 bus companies in Heraklion but 2 of them have almost identical labels and busses (red bus). When we received the Viator ticket and showed it to the drivers and staff, even they couldn’t figure out which company was the provider. Total confusion all day. The schedule says they run every 30 minutes but it seems during the low season they only run 1 bus and it’s supposed to be hourly. We found it ran from 25 to 45 minutes late! There’s no information on the websites or Viator indicating that the purple route to Ammoudara Beach only runs in the peak season. If you buy a ticket for Sunday, the 2nd day free is no good to you as the bus doesn’t run Monday! Very poor communication, we are so disappointed with Viator and Grekaland Travel (the organizer on Viator app)

Rubbish - DO NOT USE CRETE HOP ON HOP OFF BUS, there are 3 companys so stay away from the Crete hop on bus , 1 route 40 mins shortage of buses had to walk back from the last stop as bus nowhere to be seen, advertised as 2 routes paid €20 each which was a total waste of time, when i complained the 2 horrible women in the kiosk just shrugged and said only red line was running and had the cheek to say we didnt have far to walk what a rude pair of women , whatever you do STAY AWAY from the CRETE company

Complete disappointment and poor manners - Really dishonest. Purchased ticket at the port kiosk at 25€ per person guaranteeing immediate departure. We go to the bus 2 minutes away and we waited almost an hour before it left noticing that those who made the ticket directly on the bus paid 20€. The timetable did not coincide with the other stops either. We contacted them via whatsapp and even questioned our complaints. Not to be used at all. There is the other company that is much better and has more means.
