Beautiful aquarium for a small excursion - Very nice aquarium. Reasonable admission fees. Souvenir shop unfortunately extremely overpriced. Without children, you can schedule about 2 hours. Gastronomy on site. Information in Greek and English at the aquariums.

Nice experience but a little expensive! - Pleasant aquarium with ambient music and beautiful fish highlighted by decoration in the pools. Small downside for the Award which is relatively high compared to what is proposed, for a family it costs quickly. 36 euros to 3 adults knowing that we are 2 hours from the closure of the site and that without presentation of a student title we apply you the highest rate, it is a bit excessive.

Good Aquarium - Good as far as aquariums go. It's not too big and I was hopping that there would be more "learning"-- more information on the local creatures around Crete and some interactive models. It was good for about an hour visit.

Octopus in tiny tank - The aquarium was perfectly nice and quite good value, but there was an octopus in a tiny tiny tank on its own. My understanding is that octopus are intelligent and social creatures. 😢

Aquarium with good potential - Highlights include grey sharks and turtles. The location is not bad at all. But it should be improved by proposing a few more sharks.

Nice place, a little too crowded - The Cretaquarium is small, compared to other aquariums I've visited (the one in Valencia), but is well- maintained, there are many species of fish and other marine life forms from Mediteranean sea, lot of information and facts about the fish living there. I didn't like the yelling and the fussing, many small kids constantly running, crying and hustling, trying to see everything all at once, their parents running after them, taking countless pictures. It felt really noisy and crowded. Maybe it's different on a regular day. We got there on Sunday.

Moderate aquarium - It's a regular aquarium. There's a box of rays, but you can't pet them. The size was a bit disappointing. There is 1 large aquarium with sharks and other fish. That was nice.
