Great time exploring Crete - Ed was a lot of fun and gave us a great tour. I would definitely recommend. It was just our family of four and one other couple, so a small group. We traveled in a comfortable, air-conditioned mini-bus, and Ed provided bottled water. We stopped fairly often at different places, so there were not long periods of time spent in the van. We toured a family-owned olive oil factory and sampled olive oil and honey, stopped for photos at a high point looking down on the coast, walked around a small village and had a drink at a cafe, went to the Cave of Zeus, toured some farms on the plateu where we picked and ate fresh strawberries and ate melon straight from the vine, visited windmills, stopped for lunch at a family-run restaurant (lunch cost was on our own, which was clearly indicated at time of booking), and visited one of the oldest trees on the island of Crete. It was a wonderful day.

An awesome and hilarious way to experience Crete - Want to experience and learn more about all things Crete, with a hilarious and charming tour guide, who is ALSO the son of Zeus (but probably not the Zeus you're thinking of)? If so, then do not hesitate to book this tour! Ed is an incredible tour guide that effortlessly put our group at ease through his great sense of humour and incredible Cretan knowledge. When researching Crete for our honeymoon, there were lots of things we wanted to do, and Ed managed to cram so many great experiences in, without the day feeling rushed at all. It was an absolute joy to be a part of, and I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to experience more of this beautiful island.

Great family experience - Great family day with "crazy Ed"! Small group, comfortable car, well-trained program, and above all a passionate and exciting Guide who will talk to you about both history , geography and mythology. Even though our two children (7 and 11 years old) didn’t understand English, Ed managed to get them involved in Things to do and create a great friendly atmosphere in our small group. Special mention to Andrea and Daniel, our teammates of the day that we had a lot of pleasure to meet. I recommend without any hesitation!

Fantastic tour, book it now! - Amazing tour! Ed is very welcoming and knowledgeable, knows everything about Crete and almost everyone up on the Lassithi Plateau. Ed took us off the main touristy paths for quite a bit, which was a great way to see more of the "real" Crete. He was so kind and amenable to changes in the plan--let us spend more time exploring the farms because we were interested in it, and very accomodating for us taking a bit longer at some stops. The strawberries were amazing, the olive oil was delicious, and the whole trip was a blast. If I could give it more than five stars, I would.
