Great experience with Luis - We had a wonderful experience at the Britt coffee plantation tour. Our tour guide Luis was knowledgeable and very friendly. He made it interesting to learn about coffee and dispelled some misinformation . He shed new light into how coffee was grown and how the inter actions of weather, soil, environment and luck go to obtain a great product !

A very pleasant visit. - The place is very cozy and nice. The tour is very pleasant and with very good information, with the opportunity to taste various types of coffee. Our tour included lunch, pretty good too. They have the store with very good assortment of coffee and gifts. The cafe offers drinks, meals and chocolates, with a beautiful presentation. Be sure to visit the place with time and enjoy the estate and its surroundings, we loved the area with the butterflies.

Must see tour if you're in San Jose. - The coffee tour was pretty cool. I went with a bunch of people from around here, and the guides were nice enough to do the tour in both English and Spanish. The only downside was that it started an hour later than what TripAdvisor said, and they didn't provide transportation like they said they would. But besides that, the tour itself was really fun.

Do this!! - Highly recommended! The 11am group tour was informative and highly entertaining. Probably the most entertaining tour I’ve ever had! We also did a private tour at 8:30am just with Luis, which I highly recommend. We visited a plantation and he walked us through all the interesting details of how coffee is farmed and the history of it. Luis was amazing and you should definitely do this tour!

Coffee in the rain - I recently took the Britt Coffee Tour with my wife and two daughters, and despite being caught in the rain, it was a wonderful experience. The tour was informative and engaging, offering insights into the coffee-making process from bean to cup. The lush plantation setting was beautiful, even in the rain, and added a unique charm to the experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, making the tour enjoyable for both adults and kids. Overall, it was a delightful and memorable adventure.

Good tour! Bad transportation. - Coffee tour was great! But the transportation provided by the tour was not reliable. The transportation arrived an hour after the scheduled pickup time. I had to call to verify if they were even still coming because we were not informed they were running late.
