Fabulous day trip with Percy - We had a fabulous day doing a wine tour in the Hemel en Aarde wine valley with Percy. He has extensive knowledge, a passion for wine and ability to share his knowledge in a fun yet educating manner. We did the trip once before ten years ago and will continue to offer this trip to our family and friends when they visit, it’s worth it!

Excellent whale-watching experience - I've wanted to see whales for as long as I can remember and it was a wonderful experience. Percy is super knowledgeable and very entertaining. I thought I was a whale nerd but I learned a lot from him. It took a while to locate the whales but our patience paid off. We saw several whales and Percy took amazing photos of them, including of one of the females looking straight at us. I had my doubts about land-based whale watching but it was absolutely the right choice. Highly recommended.

Most incredible whale watching experience - We had arranged to do the whale watching boat tour which was sadly cancelled due to adverse whether, obviously totally out of our control, so we were recommended to do the walk from boat yard to the town, which was a super stunning and atmospheric walk across some vary terrain. We loved it. We entered the town afterwards which has such a sweet, charming and easy going feel to it! Then we had lunch at Bientangs cave restaurant and bar. AMAZING! the food and wine was exquisite and cheap but the best off was the whale show displayed in front of us for the whole experience. They were jumping out, flapping tails and fins, breaking the waters surface, it was breathtaking! It felt very bucket listy! After lunch our driver, Yusaf, who is an incredibly knowledgeable and nice guy, took us the scenic route home along the coast line, visiting stoney point to see the penguins. The views from this drive are bonkers. It really exposes you to the beauty of the coast, where again we saw whales jumping from the water, making free willy look like an amateur jumper! Our tour was expertly organised by Tanya, who I honestly cannot speak more highly of throughout the whole pre booking and during period. She was always extremely helpful, comprehensive and attentively timely in her responses. You can tell she genuinely really cares about the clients experience and the tours themselves, which is exactly what you always want when booking a tour. Thank you very much Tanya! We wouldn’t have had this unforgettable experience without your assistance and input!

Excellent experience - Percy was an excellent tour guide. He provided us with history of the area and was very interesting and fun to chat with. Was flexible in letting us determine what we wanted to do during the tour and chose an excellent local restaurant for lunch. Would definitely book another tour with Percy when we return to South Africa.

Brilliant tour - fun and informative. Thank you Percy you legend! - We were a little too late to see the whales but Percy our guide was amazing. Such a laugh and full of stories and knowledge about the area. He drove us to the beach, along the cliff top path, to a nature reserve and all throughout the town. We had so much fun and learnt a lot too. Thank you for making our morning so brilliant.

Very interesting tour of Hermanus with great whale watching opportunities, great location, good company, very enjoyable. - Very comprehensive and interesting tour covering widlife (whales, sea birds, wide variety of plants, and gardens) Percy, our guide was very knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. The tour included the sea front as well as a visit to the Sunday market and information about Hermanus geography and history.

Best way to see the whales respecting the environment. Percy is the perfect guide! - It was great meeting Percy, he explained lots of interesting things about whales and sealife in Hermanus and took us to the places where spots are more frequent. We spotted whales from different points of the coast and at the end of the tour we were so lucky that a mum with her baby got close to where we were and we saw some nice breaches. We also spotted a doplhin pod swimming around 3 kayaks. It was a great experience!

Whale watching with Percy - We spent an absolutely wonderful morning with Percy. I had prepared myself not to see anything but we saw our first whale within a few minutes. We also went to the whale museum which was great and we learnt so much information which made the whale spotting even better. The cliff top was an exhilarating place for whale watching and so beautiful in its own right. Percy’s enthusiasm was infectious and he is extremely knowledgeable and fun. Great whale watching holiday in Hermanus - Everything that Percy and Tanya arranged for us was done promptly, professionally and with great care and attention to our specific requests. This included whale watching on a helicopter flight and the following day on a boat trip and the next day a complete tour of the Hermanus area and land based whale watching. Tanya was in touch throughout the year leading up to our holiday and all the time whilst we were in Hermanus due to the tricky weather conditions affecting the area.
