Fun and immersive culinary experience - Alexander is a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. He introduced us to Crete culture and taught us about Crete herbs and uses. The Lassithi plateau has a breathtaking view and was a perfect location to embark on a culinary experience. We were hosted by Manolis and Xaridimos Siganos and their family for a cooking class and then lunch afterwards. It was amazing to see the whole family involved in the activity. We were guided to make spinach pies and Greek stuffed cabbage. It was great fun cooking and tasting the fruits of our labour. The family also prepared a salad comprising wild herbs foraged from the plateau. It can’t get more immersive than this! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on this tour. Thank you!
