Beautiful blue cave and helpful guide - The ice cave tour was beautiful, our guide was very nice and fun! We unfortunately couldn't hear him talking on the ride to the cave from the back seat but that didn’t spoil our trip.

Great experience and guide - The cave itself was incredible. It was very blue and large, just like we expected from photos of other peoples experiences. Our tour guide, AJ, made the experience even better. He was very informative, entertaining, passionate, and funny. He made sure everyone got great photos, learned about the history/geology of the area, and gave us plenty of time in the cave. Comparing our experience to those with other guides that we past, we really feel like AJ elevated our tour experience.

A safe and amazing experience - Johan was an amazing and knowledgeable tour guide that had a major emphasis on safety. He shared facts and history about the glaciers and threw in a few jokes that made the experience memorable. This was my first time in Iceland and he made it worthwhile.

Frozen dream hike - My wife and I did this tour in October, and it was the highlight of our Iceland trip. Our tour guide was great and knowledgeable of everything from the geography to the local history. Hike up the glacier was easy for us, but we are experienced hikers. The guide was good about keeping an eye on the people who struggled. The caves were absolutely stunning. The best way to describe them was like being in a giant mirror maze because they were so clear. Meeting point was a little confusing to find, so get there early. If your interested in hiking and seeing Icelands natural beauty this is a must for nature Lovers.

What an incredible experience - It was an incredible experience. Our guide Orri was knowledgeable and friendly, furthermore he gave some great suggestions for places nearby to see. After climbing the glacier the view is incredible as well as in the cave.

Amazing experience - I came here as a solo traveler and my tour guide Orri took all of my videos for me. I’ve never done anything like this before taking a small hike into an underground ice cave. This was definitely an experience and be sure to wear proper shoes there are lots of works all over the ground.

Not worth the money and a very tiny icecave. - My 35 year old son and I did this trip run by Trolls from Jokulsarlon, we were really looking forward to this trip..it was going to be our highlight of our holiday. My son is into his caving big time in the UK ..he belongs to various caving clubs and cave rescue etc..so we were really looking forward to this trip. Our guide was really good, but the trip was such a let down. We got to the icefield had to put our gear on and then we had a very long walk up the icefield..we got to the ice cave..where there were so many other groups waiting to go into this really small ice cave. The ice cave is not the same as on the Trolls advertising literature for this visit..the cave that we visited was really tiny..not worth the long walk up the icefield..we had some people in our group that were not very fit and we were starting to get worried about them also. They are trying to cram too many people into this small cave at a time..it should be limited to a certain amount of people visiting this small cave per day . We would not recommend this trip, it was a waste of our money and our time.

Not worth the money - This tour is not worth the money, we had 13 people in our group and spent more time standing in the dark (headlamps off) waiting for other groups (4 others in total) to move through the cave. The tour started by one of our Travellers being berated (by the person checking everyone in) for using the step to enter the super jeep (very high step and no handle to assist with hop up) We were not given the option for the difficulty of hike we would like (as our tour guide was told by the head person what tour to place us on). The cave was crowded, and a hazard as we had to have our headlamps off whilst other groups moved through. The experience was not worth the money, they are all about making money and don't care about the experience. Our Tour Guide Orri was wonderful, he was the best part of the tour. Not worth the money.

Don’t do Troll Expeditions and be careful when choosing an ice cave experience - Don’t waste your money on this. No blue ice as depicted on the website. No choice as to what walk to do. We were judged on our age & went to a small cave that was dreadfully overcrowded with other tour groups and most of the time spent waiting for others to pass. Lovely guide Orri but a rude, condescending & arrogant organiser at the start of the tour. This company cares only about money & not the customers.
