Amazing small/intimate group tour! - Filip (sorry for the misspelling!) was a great tour guide! Was kind enough to wait 10 minutes for us and even though we started a bit late, he did not rush us through the experience. He took his time, was big into safety and avoided the large crowds by going into different locations. Not only was he a great tour guide, he took great pictures lol. Would highly recommend!

Our tour guide Iga made the experience great and even took the time to take pictures for anyone who wanted! The pictures came out great! Iga was fun, knowledgeable and gave us suggestions for what to do around Iceland. I would definitely recommend this tour especially with Iga as a guide :) JauJau

Brilliant Ice Cave tour - Absolutely brilliant tour. We met in Hali where we were offered hot drinks and set up with Harnesses and crampons. Family of 4 with 8 other guests on the trip guided by Phillip who was very knowledgeable (and qualified). We traveled in adapted vehicle before short walk to the ice cave where there was plenty of opportunities for photos and Phillip took family photos too. We then pulled on our crampons and walked up the glacier to go down in another cave before returning down the glacier, removing crampons and heading back to vehicle. On return to base camp we were again offered hot drinks (lovely hot chocolate with Marshmallows in) we weren't rushed off straight after. Phillip was great with our kids aged 12 and 10. Throughout the tour it felt like safety was paramount, we witnessed other tour groups by other providers that seemed less so. Booking process was straight forward online with no issues and competitively priced. A good degree of physical fitness is needed for this tour. We were OK.but some others struggled slightly.

Great guide, misleading photos and description of the tour - We expected much more of this tour based on the photos and description given, they were quite misleading. We didn't even hike on the ice and had to wait like 30 minutes to enter a crowded tiny ice cave, which we couldn't even walk till the end as it was flooded. We were told that walking on the ice and bigger and "bluer" caves were only visited in the 5-6 hours tour they offer. Honestly, if we had known this we would have gone for the longer option no doubt. Despite this, I'm giving the tour 2 stars for our amazing guide Dana, who made the experience much greater and for the hot chocolate we were offered once we got back to Glacier Adventure reception.
