Guided by a local company that will take you through the region’s history from settlement until today.
Ice Cave Adventure tour is easy, we only have to walk for 30-40 minutes (1.5km) to and from the ice cave, maximum 12 pax in a group. The tour can take between 3-4 hours, of which 45 minutes are spent in the cave, at least enough to get the perfect pictures!
On this tour we will not walk on the glacier, all the walk will be done on a gravel path.
The age limit is 10 years old.

Loved it - Everyone should do a natural crystal ice cave tour and Glacier Adventure is prefect for that. Staffs were very friendly as well as professional. We had a great time during the trip as our tour guide Christine was knowledgeable and friendly.

Walking on Ice - We had a great time visiting the Crystal Cave. Pictures don't do it justice, and being inside is fascinating. We also walked in top of the glacier, which was really fantastic too.

Fantastic experience! - Wonderful excursion! Excellent organization and group of expert, courteous and helpful guides. In particular, our very nice and kind guide, Sergio, who also spoke Italian very well, accompanied us with great competence and passion on this wonderful excursion that has remained in our hearts. The cave truly leaves you speechless and the landscape around is splendid. A unique experience that I recommend to everyone!

An amazing adventure - Our experience with glacier adventure was perfect! The guide was very kind and we feel safety during all experience. The ice crystal cave is amazing and a experience very recomendable with them if you go to Iceland!!

Ice cave tour - bucket list worthy! - This tour was on my bucket list and it did not disappoint! The meeting place was 25 minutes drive from the glacier. Everything was on time and we were well equipped. ( Heed the website recommendations on what to wear.) Our guide, Christine, was wonderful! At each stage she clearly explained what was happening next. She gave us great information about the glacier. She was also very friendly. The caves themselves were beautiful. However, be aware that each year the caves disappear as the glacier melts so those going in subsequent seasons will see different caves. I would not recommend this tour for people with mobility issues. You may need to walk while squatting over an irregular surface. If you are concerned whether you can physically do it, speak to the tour people prior to going as they will know what is involved in the particular caves you will be visiting.

The Crystal Ice Cave tour offered an exceptionally thrilling experience. - The Ice Cave tour was amazing. We went with a guide and saw beautiful ice formations inside. It was like being in a magical icy world. If you like cool adventures, you should go!

Great guide, misleading photos and description of the tour - We expected much more of this tour based on the photos and description given, they were quite misleading.
We didn't even hike on the ice and had to wait like 30 minutes to enter a crowded tiny ice cave, which we couldn't even walk till the end as it was flooded.
We were told that walking on the ice and bigger and "bluer" caves were only visited in the 5-6 hours tour they offer. Honestly, if we had known this we would have gone for the longer option no doubt.
Despite this, I'm giving the tour 2 stars for our amazing guide Dana, who made the experience much greater and for the hot chocolate we were offered once we got back to Glacier Adventure reception.
