INCREDIBLE! - My family of 4 was able to do a private snowmobile tour with our guide Stefan after no one else had booked, and this became one of the main highlights of our Iceland trip! Stefan was an excellent guide who shared lots of great information during the 45 minute "monster truck" ride up and down to the glacier. We were lucky and got a bright sunny day. It was incredible to see snow as far into the horizon as possible and we were only on one pinprick of this massive glacier. We were able to ride at decent speeds and Stefan even allowed my kids time to slide down a man made snow slide and have snowball fights, since we don't ever see snow where we are from. My only advice would be to bring extra socks/towels for the ride back. My kids got snow in their boots and had wet/cold feet that dampered their moods a bit. Otherwise, we still talk about this day. Thank you Stefan and Glacier Journey!

Excellent - Sunshine, snowmobiles, god guides. We were glad, that we booked a snowmobile for each person - so much fun. A stop for the amazing view of the glacier and landscape on the way back in the car would have bee perfect, but the time was short.

Fantastic. Recommended! - It was fantastic! Friendly welcome at the Basecamp by the employees. Well informed here about what to wear under the suits they provide and what to take with you on the trip. On the way to the starting point of the glacier tour, the guides gave us fun facts and interesting information about the glacier and the surrounding area. Upon arrival at the glacier, the safety rules and the operation of the snowmobile were explained in a playful and clear manner. This is followed by a fantastically beautiful trip over the glacier, with a stop to take pictures of the surroundings, yourself or others on the snowmobile. Highly recommended and value for money. Definitely one of the best things about our holiday

Best thing in Iceland - We had an amazing experience with the team, and have recommended to everyone we know and will continue to do so! Our guide (Alex) was knowledgeable, funny and extremely professional, perfect for a dangerous activity. The snowmobiles was the best things we did in Iceland, one of the best things we’ve ever done and what a location!!

Incredible location, good guides, good value for money - The location is incredible. After putting on special wind proof suits (worked out great), we got on a super jeep and they drove us some 40 minutes up the mountain. Then we get on the snowmobiles. The winds were really strong that day and temperature was estimated between -15 to -20 according to the guide. Super strong gusts that could knock down a person and even influence the weight on a moving snow mobile. At some points in the tour, we couldn't see the front guide (also a guide in the back). A few guests couldn't avoid falling off the snow mobiles due to the conditions, all ok and unharmed. Still, knowing the conditions in advance, the guides should have provided more information about how to drive more carefully to avoid this (all of us were beginner drivers). Tips like weight balance / shifting when turning, more careful acceleration, keeping straight lines when accelerating, etc would have easily avoided some of these falls. It's the only reason of giving 4 out of 5 stars. The guides were really helpful and nice otherwise, one of them even giving her own gloves to my daughter when she started feeling her hands a bit cold due to the harsh conditions that day (her gloves not good enough for those conditions). A really fun ride through truly spectacular scenery in the mountain and glacier, a great feeling of being on a remote location, very good tour duration. I felt it was good value for the money, despite not being a cheap tour. I had a lot of fun and I'd do it again, keeping fingers crossed for better weather conditions.
