On the other side is a mixture of small sand hills with Lyme grass and small ponds with a vivid birdlife.
Suðurfjörur are known for their diverse birdlife. There is also a lot of flotsam and debris that has travelled a long way with the ocean.
This sand beach is a magnificent and magical place and you always see something new, each time you drive out there.
