An interesting cooking event we can highly recommend - In the morning Mr. Hu took us to the market of Tra Que Village and explained to us the different vegetables, spices , fishes and meats. This market is visited by the inhabitants who buy their food here. We too bought everything we needed for the cooking. Afterwards we visited the garden of the owner and got explanations about the different vegetables, fruits and spices there. Very interesting. Then we started with the preparation of the different starters and the main courses under the guidance of an experienced cook. The dishes tasted excellent.
If you look for an unusual event and are interested in Vietnamese cooking this is something we can recommend.

Super fun and delicious - This was a fantastic experience. I was the only person who booked on the day, but they run it anyway. The owner picked me up at the hotel and gave me a personal tour through the market, explaining where the different vegetables grow in the country and trying different fruits. You can tell he is really passionate about his job. The cooking was fun and very delicious. The staff was really accomodating. I can highly recommend this if you're looking for something else than the standard tourist program.

Express cooking class - Thank you Mai Home Hoi A for a fantastic cooking class! We made 4 dishes that we had been very keen to learn, and they were all delicious:
1. Banh Xeo (Pancake)
2. Spring rolls
3. Clay pot Fish
4. Sweet and Sour Chicken
We didn’t have a lot of time so just did the cooking class only - we ended up being by ourselves for the session between 4pm and 6pm. Great venue with nice view out over vegetable village. Looking forward to visiting again next time we are in Hoi An!

Best cooking class ! - Learning how to make some of the delicious food we had in Vietnam was really fun and interesting ! The chef that led us through the market was really eager to share with us all his knowledge, and his team that taught us how to cook was really friendly and skillful. It was one of the best activity we have done throughout our trip ! Plus they are sending you the recipes so you can actually try to make them back at home. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys good food !

Also suitable for vegetarians and teenagers.:) - It was a lot of fun! For my daughter they cooked an extra vegetarian dish with us! Both dishes were super delicious! Great ambience, friendly hosts and we laughed a lot. Absolutely recommend!

You should to this tour - I was such a great experience. The staff was very helpful during the whole cooking class.
I got picked up at the hotel and then we went to the marked. He showed us around the marked, explained different things about their food culture and gave us tipps on where to eat if we wanted real authentic vietnamese dishes.
After that we went to the restaurant and we got to see the garden which was amazing. Then the cooking started. Such a great experience and the dishes were amazing. I‘m definitely going to try some of the dishes at home. There where enough staff to help you with every step.
