Hoi An Ancient Town - Hoi An is an ancient town located in the lower section of Thu Bon River, Quang Nam Province, about 30 kilometers south of Danang city. Hoi An was a bustling international trading port,a meeting place of the trading ships of Japan, China and the West during the 17th and 18th centuries. Before this period, there was here also traces of Champa port which was known as a site on Silk Road along the sea. Hoi An ancient town today is a special example of a traditional port city in Southeast Asia which has been well preserved. Most houses here are of traditional architecture dating from the 17th to the 19th century, and are along the narrow main streets. Hoi An is also a land mark recorded much of the mixture of acculturation. The architecture of the city reflects the influence of chinese, japanese, french traders. Hoi An still maintained an intangible cultural diversity and richness.
UNESCO has recognized the ancient town of Hoi An as a world cultural heritage in 1999

The walking tour in Hoi An runs from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, where you will explore the ancient town’s highlights, including Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, Tan Ky Ancient Commercial House, the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Cultural and Historical Museum, and the local market. Next, enjoy a 30-minute Sampan boat cruise along the Hoai River to experience Hoi An’s early evening life. Afterward, you can walk to the lantern area and night market, have dinner on your own at the night market, or enjoy free time to explore by yourself. The tour concludes with a return to your hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An city.

Historic & Beautiful! - This tour was an great experience, and Mr. Ken was by far the best tour guide we’ve had! His deep connection to Hoi An made the tour truly special. Being born and raised in Hoi An, Mr. Ken has witnessed the city's development over multiple decades, and his knowledge and stories gave us a unique perspective on the town's history and culture. He pointed out buildings and shared what they used to be, along with fascinating anecdotes about how Hoi An has changed over the years. The sampan boat ride down the Hoai River, the lantern area, and the night market were all highlights, and the private, air-conditioned vehicle made the experience comfortable. If you want an intimate and insightful tour of Hoi An, this is the one to choose!

A great tour for our first night in Hoi An. - A lovely stroll around Ancient Town, our guide Miss Vy was awesome!
We loved visiting and hearing all the stories of ancient Town and seeing it come to life as the sun went down.
All the streets lined with beautiful lanterns and we loved browsing thru the night market and the boat ride was a highlight, it was so pretty on the water.
This is by far my favourite stop so far on our Vietnam Honeymoon Adventure and Miss Vy made it all the more special for us.

Great Tour of the Ancient City - We had a great time touring Hoi An’s ancient city with Tony. The city is beautiful and this tour took us to many interesting places. We had time to converse with Tony and ended the night with a beautiful boat ride. Wonderful tour!!

Busy small place - Crowds are to be expected…
Colorful and tour had 5 stops which was explained at the start of my trip. One side of An Hoi shuts down at 10pm and across the walking bridge Hoi An Island (yes the words are reversed) stops at 10pm.
There is plenty of time if you want to take a taxi back to hotel after tour to explore more.

Super friendly knowledgeable highly recommend - Kong was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the tour and gave myself and the kids a lot of historical context behind the tour. Mr. Tuan is good at photography! - Very excited about Hoi An! Did a See Tinh dance on tiktok while on a sampan, thanks to Mr. Tuan! He is also very good with photography! All the photos he took of me & my friend are really nice!

Hoi An Awesomeness! Great Tour! - Extremely good tour, enjoyed it throughout we had an awesome time throughout our day! Would recommend this to anybody five stars out of five stars, our tour guide spoke perfect English and was extremely knowledgeable about everything about Hoi An Vietnam. He answered all our questions and we went and saw how they made silk from silkworms it was pretty incredible, the boat ride with all the lanterns was extremely special and romantic, all the temples we saw, the main bridge, and a history of Hoi An with surprising facts in details throughout our day! Phenomenal experience. Thanks again Andy Tours, One stop shop for all you need with Vietnam.

Bussling Hoi An - Mr Ken was our guide for this, 2nd day running we got him and he was great.
The tour was informative and interesting if not a litle busy.
The boat ride was very processed and commercial and if doing during the daylight you lose the ambiance.
Plenty of places for gifts and food but we chose to return early as so busy, and this was in quiet season.
Nothing against Hoi An or Mr Ken at all but not for us.
