• Also known as Ngu Hanh Son or the Mountains of the Five Elements, the Marble Mountains are a collection of five marble peaks: Thuy Son (water), the tallest, Moc Son (wood), Kim Son (metal), Tho Son (earth), and Hoa Son (fire). The famed traditional stonemasonry practices of the Marble Mountains have earned them fame. Close to Thuy Son in Dong Hai village, 600 families carve stone into statues, jewelry, and artwork. Marble sourced from the Marble Mountains has made its way to various international destinations.
