This town, recognized as a World Heritage site, is situated along the Thu Bon River and has remained unchanged for centuries, providing a stunning backdrop for photography. Historically, Hoi An served as an international trading port for the Champa Kingdom, facilitating the import and export of wood, gold, and silk. It hosted trade fairs that attracted merchants from Holland, Portugal, Japan, and China. When the river became too shallow, Da Nang was chosen as the new major port.
During the guided walking tour of Hoi An’s old town, the tour guide will share insights into the history of the Japanese Bridge, traditional houses, the Chinese Assembly Hall, and a cultural and historical museum.
Next, enjoy a 20-minute boat ride to view Hoi An city in the early evening. Afterwards, guests can walk to the night market to admire the colorful lanterns or enjoy some free time.
