too unsanitary and too hot to cook outdoors - It's way too hot to cook outside even with shade in August in Hoi An or anywhere in Vietnam. I thought I'd pass out trying to stand in the heat and cook over an open flame. The toilet was primitive. I imagine the kitchen and vegetable washing was also unsanitary. Our "Chef" was nice and we tipped her well although why the tour guide felt it necessary to touch every piece of salad with what I assume was his dirty hand. I lost my appetite and only ate a little of the cooked foods.
