Guests will dine among locals and sample a selection of Hoi An’s finest dishes. The tour includes visits to local family producers of items like Cao Lau noodles, offering insights into the local lifestyle. Guests will enjoy “Bò Lá Lót,” followed by “White Rose” dumplings and Fried Wontons, a street food specialty in Hoi An, and will learn how to make them.
- Hoi An - Returning to the scooter, the tour proceeds to a local area to savor “Sizzling rice pancakes.” Guests will indulge in a Vietnamese Barbecue and try the ‘Wrap And Roll’ style of eating, followed by “Quang Noodles,” a popular dish in Hoi An. The experience continues with a must-try dish in Hoi An: Banh Mi. The drivers take guests along the riverbanks, through winding back alleys, and to Hoi An’s old town for a walk and photo opportunities with colorful lanterns. The tour concludes with banana pancakes and rolled ice cream for dessert before returning to the hotel.

A Great Food Tour of Hoi An! - We went with John on a private food tour of Hoi An, and he was great! He has a very lively, fun personality, which made our walking tour pleasurable. The tour covered the old quarter of Hoi An. We love coffee culture, so he made a point of showing us some wonderful coffeehouses as well as interesting restaurants, where he explained the foods we ate. I highly recommend this tour!

Memorable tour in Hoi An. - John was a lovely guide. He was friendly, accommodating and has a very good sense of humour.John has a lot of knowledge about the culture and history of Hoi An. We meet with some locals and tasted authentic Vietnamese food. John goes above and beyond to make sure his guest are having fun. I highly recommend John Lee.

Super trip in Old Town and with subsequent foodie tour - A lovely trip where John took us around Old Town, where we got to see what this beautiful neighborhood has to offer - really a super experience. Then a foodie tour where John took us through some extremely nice dining places with local and delicious food.
The trip can only highly recommend

Good food tour and experience in Hoi An - We had a great tour experiencing the authentic Hoi An with the Rice Fields, narrow streets and food vendors. Really enjoyed food experiences, all good and delicious. Our tour guide was very knowledgable about Hoi An and its culture.

Street food experience with John - We had a fabulous bike and walking street food experience with John. He was charming and friendly with good humour. I am well educated now on the real Hoian. Thank you John a truly super experience. Loved all the food and people so friendly.

HoiAn in your face - Funny guy who knows his work and very well informative knowledge on local culture and history. Speaks very good English too. Most of all, he makes us laugh and never a fails to give us more than we need to know about everything we see. Also knows all the best food.

Exciting and memorable evening in Hoi An !! - John was such a lovely guide. He was very attentive, knowledgeable and had a witty sense of humour. My teens still talk about Johnny! - If you do one thing in Hoi An, do the Tours with Johnny! Engaging, funny, just the perfect guide. My teens loved him and we were thrilled to learn he was going to be our guide on our second day in Hoi An. He uncovered so many hidden secret places that we woukd never have discovered on our own. We even met his Dad 😊

John Lee Hoi An tours are the BEST! - We had a fantastic day with John Lee. John organised an amazing customised tour of Hoi An. John is super friendly and accomodating. We meet some wonderful locals and tasted authentic Vietnamese food. John goes above and beyond to ensure his guest are having fun.
