Great Experience!!!! - Good ! Great!!! This is a must do activity in Hoi An. Our oarsman was outstanding and made the experience more memorable by taking photos and making an outstanding video of the experience. We were shocked and the high quality of photos and videos which were done to a very high standard. We would highly recommend this activity as a must do when visiting Hoi An.

Add this to your must visit places - This was such a unique place. From the day shops that turned into night markets, that turned into a river full of boats with lanterns and street restaurants. Shops for leather and dresses and everything in between it is a must travel destination.

Nice evening on the water - We had a nice experience lightning a candle and placing our lanterns in the water. So many boats and so many colourful lanterns on the river. Took some nice photos too.

Pros: convenience. The... - Pros: convenience. The communication was great. Our guide showed up in the rain. This tour would be perfect on a beautiful day. Cons: you’re paying for the convenience. You can purchase the tickets on your own - it would have cost less than half to just walk up to the ticket booth on our own in the same area …we decided to do this as a fast track but it turns out it wasn’t needed.

Don’t pre book, just go to the boats - It is much cheaper to just go to the boats, you will pay about 50% less. The tour company just gives you the lanterns and takes you to a boat

Not worth the money - After doing some more research I realised we were charged about triple the going rate. I thought we would be safe going through the app but apparently not. We sat on the boat for about 5 minutes, the guide never offered to light our lanterns (we realised he wasn’t going to and luckily had our own lighter and did it at the end by ourselves). You don’t see anything more on the boat than by the waters edge. Got a couple of ok photos and that’s it.
