My best experience in Vietnam - We had a wonderful time! It was easy cycling. We got to experience the lovely countryside and learn lots about the cottage industries still going on. Lunch was delicious, funny cooking class. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and told us lots about the history and also some interesting plants/herbs along the way. We were provided with lots of water, very much needed on a hot day! Would definitely recommend it.

Made a friend - How took us on a street food tour of Hoi An. She met us at our hotel and we set off toward old town. Before long Hoa ducked us down an ally and from that point on we were off the tourist map, she took us to small street food vendors were locals would go to find their meals for the evening. Every stand we stopped at the food was out of this world, but it was Hoa herself that made the evening special. She chatted to us not only about the food but also the culture and herself. I mentioned that I want to buy a marble Buddha, she offered to pick me up at our hotel the next day and take me shopping. Unfortunately we had a tour the next day. Later on said day she sent me a pic of the most divine Buddha, now all I have to do is book my next trip gat Hoa to come pick me up and go get my Buddha. Hoa was the best guide we had for all the time we were in Vietnam and I would like to think we are friends now.

Great tour, a must do. - We went on a foodtour with Hoa in Hoi An. We walked around the city and also outside the old city to places we would never found ourselves. Small, cosy with very good food. Although we already did some foodtours we were still surprised to eat local specialties we diden t see before. The food was very tasty, for vegetarian and meatlovers also. Hoa told us about the city, about how people live here and answered our questions. We had a great time and learned a lot. She is a very kind woman who knows a lot. A must do.

An unforgettable tour and foodie experience - Hoa was the very best tour guide, her name means Flower. She was so descriptive on our walking and food tour showing us lots of different places of interest. It was nice to mingle with the locals and at one point it started to rain so heavy, all we could do was laugh as Hoa went and bought us raincoats ! We looked at the different style of houses and learnt it was also a special day of worship as it was a full moon. The food we ate was amazing , we visited White Rose for dumplings, other restaurants frequented by locals where we had delicacies including wonton’s served with a delicious topping, cau la noodles, banh mi, fried quail eggs all so good. We learn about the history of the old centre and it was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists in the ancient town. Along the way Hao took me to a shop to buy a hair brush and when the tour ended I found I was missing my sunglasses and thought I must have left them in the store, Hao went back to the store on her motor cycle , found my sunglasses and delivered them to our hotel ! Her customer service is excellent and I would thoroughly recommend this tour. I hope you have Hoa as you will not be disappointed !

Incredible Hoi An Food Experience without having to decide what to eat. Everything selected for you by your guide - Wow so many different foods to try. What a terrific way to sample the local cuisine & even see how some are made. From the baguettes to the Rose dumplings to the pancakes. Make sure you go on an empty stomach. Having an English speaking guide is fantastic especially as he explains how to correctly eat certain dishes. Hai is a wealth of information & has a a certain likeable charm about him.
