The batter is poured into the mold, topped with quail egg, and garnished with pickles and herbs.

• 49 Trần Hưng Đạo - Following is Bánh Xèo Nem Lụi (Hoi An rice pancake with grilled pork). A very thin rice paper is used to wrap the rice pancake, herbs, and pickles, then dipped in peanut sauce. This dish is truly amazing.
• Old Garden Restaurant (Vườn Xưa) - Another renowned dish of Hoi An is White Rose and Wonton.
  • White Rose: Made from translucent white dough filled with spiced minced shrimp, shaped to resemble a white rose petal.
