After our refreshment, they will demonstrate each task involved in the growing of vegetables. Then it is your turn to:

work the soil,
fertilise with seaweed, including stomping in the seaweed
sow the plants, and
water them with two watering cans in the traditional way.

• Hoi An Handicraft Workshop - you will get a brief introduction to the history, shape, and color of the lanterns as well as the many stages of making them. After that you can make your own lantern, decorate, pack and keep it as a souvenir during the time in Hoi an.
• Hoi An Silk Village - Visit the traditional Silk Weaving Factory. Learn how to feed the silkworm and see the silkworm cocoons. Explore the unraveled silkworm cocoons in the traditional way. Discover the traditional handicraft textile of Champa and learn how to make Champa peoples traditional textile crafts. Visit the Vietnamese traditional silk weave house \

TRAVEL ITINERARY: Minimum Requirement: 2 Participants

8:00 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.: Our tour guide will collect you from your accommodation in either Da Nang or Hoi An. Your journey begins with a trip to a village lantern workshop. Here, you’ll receive an overview regarding the lanterns’ history, design, and hues, as well as insight into the various steps involved in their creation. Subsequently, you’ll have the opportunity to craft your own lantern, which you can personalize, package, and retain as a keepsake from your time in Hoi An. Continuing on, we’ll proceed to a Silk Weaving Village where you’ll observe the process of silk production, from nurturing silkworms to unraveling the silk cocoons using age-old methods. Experience the art of traditional Cham textile weaving and participate in crafting traditional textile art. Next, we venture to the Tra Que Vegetable Village to visit with a local household and learn about their day-to-day lifestyle. They’ll show you the full spectrum of vegetable cultivation techniques, including preparing the earth, enriching the soil with seaweed, planting, and irrigation.

After these activities, you will enjoy a meal featuring the local specialty, noodles. To conclude, we will ensure your return to your lodging.
