• Highclere Castle - If you’ve purchased tickets to Highclere Castle, you can spend 2-3 hours admiring the grandeur of the current residence of Lord and Lady Canarvon. You’ll explore the interior and grounds where the Grantham family lived and where much of the Downton Abbey drama unfolded.
• Bampton - Stroll through the charming village of Bampton, located on the edge of the Cotswolds. Visit St Mary’s Church, the Crawfords’ house, Village Green, and see the many filming locations of Downton Abbey in this picturesque village.
• Earl Shilton - Discover the quaint hamlet of Shilton, the postcard-perfect location where Mr. Bates was brought back to Downton after facing an unsavory murder charge. With its ford, gardens, and architecture, this is a delightful stop.
• Swinbrook - Visit the most romantic pub in the Cotswolds, where Tom Branson and Lady Sybil eloped. Swinbrook is a lovely spot in itself, and you can enjoy the pub and gardens with an ale or coffee.
• Cotswolds - Besides the Downton experience, we also visit or drive through the breathtaking natural beauty of the Cotswolds, with time usually set aside for an hour-long lunch if needed.

London is amazing but hectic so why not have a relaxing day in the English Countryside instead visiting The Cotswolds and beyond on a Downton Abbey themed tour with me. We visit Highclere Castle grounds and gardens, home of Lord and Lady Grantham, Lady Mary and the Dowager (Castle and gardens tickets are extra and sourced by customer) We then tour the beautiful Cotswold villages and countryside that Downton Abbey brought to our screens in both TV/film and is a truly remarkable place. We stop at Shops. Churches, market square, thatched cottages, village halls, cricket grounds and rose gardens. Lunch can be taken in an Old English Pub where you can relax eating perhaps fish n chips or some local ales? Or I can take you to a very English Garden tea shop … the choice is both yours and endless! The afternoon is then driving through more countryside and villages chauffeured by your very own Branson before returning to your own place of residence listening to music of your choice.
