This cruise takes you on an adventure in to the wilderness.
Starting in the busy Glenfinnan area where we describe all the sights and detail the history of the village both old and modern. We soon whisk you off down the loch to the land of eagles, deer, Harry Potter landmarks and the home of the MacDonalds of Glenaladale.
Gaskan cottage was the home of well known naturalist Mike Tomkies for many years whilst he studied and wrote of the local wildlife, especially the eagles and wildcats there. It can only be accessed by boat or very long walk so this part of the loch is very serene and unspoilt.
This cruise returns to Glenfinnan jetty.

Loch Shiel Cruises
Park at Glenfinnan House Hotel and follow the path past the hotel's front door along the shore to the jetty. People reduced mobility can be dropped directly at the jetty.

Great staff! - The views were amazing - alas no wildlife this time! Great staff though - look after you and try their best!

Recommended trip - We booked on line a little late due to the weather. What a great afternoon both the staff were very welcoming and gave a great commentary during thd cruise. We saw Red Deer and a Golden Eagle and great scenery. Well worth the money.

Loch Shiel Cruise - Absolutely fabulous trip. We managed to spot two Golden Eagles,two red deer and three Sea Eagles which were flying together,two females were having a mid air fight and we even rescued a chap in a broken boat and towed him back to G!enfinnan. Such a great day, the crew were brilliant, would highly recommend.

Excellent boat trip - Excellent trip along a outstandingly beautiful lock we had great views of both Golden and White Tail Eagles.
Ali and Ben were great your guises, ensuring all the passengers could see the wildlife we encountered.

Fantastic views and wildlife - Beautiful views. Service with a smile. Ali and Ben were friendly, informative and attentive to all on board and made the trip incredibly enjoyable. Both had incredible knowledge of the wildlife and we managed to get amazing views of White tailed and golden eagles, amongst deer and others. I even got a wee dram for spotting the white tailed eagle first. Lovely touch. We were lucky enough to see two white tailed eagles fighting in mid air. Fantastic experience. We will be back!

Totally relaxing afternoon, in beautiful, breathtaking scenery. - Interesting relaxing experience and really good chill out!Lots of interesting things to see. Even supplied us with binoculars

HIGHLY RECOMMEND - We had a mixture of weather and the views were beautiful regardless. The guides were ever so friendly and super insightful. A 10/10 experience and a bargain for the price you pay.

Very knowledgable crew - Saw 2 distant White Tailed Eagles, perched in a tree and the scenery was outstanding. The guys on board were very helpful and knew their stuff.

Expensive for - Nature doesn’t turn up on our say so.
On this trip nothing appeared. The commentary was hard to hear at the rear of the boat. We did see the Glenfinnan viaduct of Harry Potters fame
